Removing a mole

So let me give small backstory. I have a mole on my lower cheek and its really quite small, about as big as the O on your keyboard, I also do not have a beard at all and probably won't develop a real one for about 2 years.
I remember getting it or seeing it when I was like 5 and I never thought much of it, but then when I was like 11 or 12 I started to not like it and sort of thought I would look better without it. This lasted for a while and I also picked at it once and told my parents that I wanted to get it removed. Then after like 2 years I got a lot of confidence and started to not really care that I had it. Then maybe a year after that I got into psychedelics and that really also helped with putting into perspective how much of a non-issue it was and I became pretty accepting of myself as a person, however,
I do maybe want to get it removed before I start growing a beard for practical reasons and also I always have a bit of paranoia that it will be cancerous. I always thought that once I had become accepting of it and accepted myself I would just move on, but now I feel as though I can finally get it removed because I have accepted it.
(I know this is not a big issue and personal choice)
The only thing is I tell people to be accepting of themselves and confident, ex. I would advise against people getting botox, boob jobs etc. but yet I want to get this mole removed, is this hypocritical of me?
I have been looking at it in a new light, just sort of like a tattoo, just for the aesthetics of it, and how I want to be seen by others, just like haircuts

You shouldn't feel bad at all about wanting to get a mole removed from your face if you don't want it there anymore.
Just be aware that you'll have a scar afterwards.

yeah, I had a talk today with my mom about and and essesntially just concluded that I may do it if the chance arises and it's not too complicated, it would also be practical for shaving

It's not complicated at all, I've had several precancerous ones removed from my back and one from behind my ear (that's the only one that hurt at all due to where it was.) A little pinch for freezing and you feel nothing. I've noticed facial scars fade faster than scars elsewhere on the body too, especially the torso. You might get at least 1 stitch though, it's hard to say with the size it is.
Expense is another thing though. I live in Canada so it was free for me so I have no idea what you might be charged if you live in the States.

Had a few removed from my face as a kid, doctor was cool, put it down for exploratory surgery for cancer, so the deductible was nothing really.
Scars will last a couple few years ans fade away

There are some natural ways to remove it for cheap if you want. Apple cider vinegar on a big of cotton taped on with a bandaid is supposed to totally remove a mole if you carefully keep it hydrated every few hours for a week. I did it for like 4 days on a couple of moles and they were greatly reduced in size. It's kind of a hassle so I didn't continue with the treatment. It's irritating to the skin though and a little painful. You don't want too much on the surrounding skin because it kills that skin too, but doesn't leave a scar.
There is probably a better way to do it than what I described, maybe a paste with vinegar mixed in? This would avoid the need for the bandaid and cotton.
