Placing spores outdoors?

If I were to order a spore syringe of cubes for instance, and inject it to make the mycelium. After letting that sit for a while inside could I spread it outdoors where mushrooms grow nicely and then end up finding the active ones growing where I put them?
I was reading similar threads to this and they are talking about cakes, are cakes the mycelium? If all I need to do is start the mycelium and bury it outside can someone give me the easiest way to make mycelium so I can try this. Any advice to get me going is much appreciated, as well as websites reliable to order the spores and what not.

You can as long as you're injecting viable substrates. Aka, cowpoo and hpoo not super sure how to do it but it is possible.

by cakes, they might be referring to brf (brown rice flour) cakes which are a component in pf tek. that is for growing indoors, which requires more work and materials, but reportedly results in higher yields and more quality fruit.
outdoor teks are out there too like Moe's, it's just a matter of preference.

If there is access to either, try this https://www.shroomery.org/8494/Moes-Outdoor-Growing-Tek

Oops, did not see that tek requires colonized substrate.. If you don't have anything (cakes, grain, anything that's already colonized) to use as a cake. Make sure the manure has already produced fruit. IME, with indoor growing, just misting and fanning a cow patty, it will continue to produce fruit. Growing outdoors will only work to your advantage, assuming the environment is suitable.
