Turning 31 in 5 days

This has felt like the longest year of my life. I got married two years ago, but it didn't slow down time like 30 did. Turning 30 just made me want to be more mindful of what's going on moment to moment.
Any of you have a similar experience in your life? Doesn't matter exactly what age or event triggered it.

I find the older I get, the faster time goes. It helps that I fucked up the first half of my twenties, and spent the other half working my dick off to get my life on track. I'm 31 as well, and thus far the 30s rock. I can't get up off the ground as quick I used to, but other than that things rocks. Welcome aboard & happy birthday man!

No I have the opposite problem. I just turned 31 last month and it feels like I was 25 just a few months ago. If I really stop and think about it, I can actually feel my life slipping away, like if I'm not consciously aware of every day I'm going to wake up and be 40 tomorrow.
--------------------
With my face against the floor I can’t see who knocked me out of the way. I don’t want to get back up but I have to so it might as well be today. Nothing appeals to me no one feels like me, I’m too busy being calm to disappear. I’m in no shape to be alone contrary to the shit that you might hear. You can't wake up, this is not a dream. You're part of a machine, you are not a human being With your face all made up, living on a screen. Low on self esteem, so you run on gasoline

I fear the 30's. It seems old to me at 25.
40 is even scarier, your chance of death seems high.
At 50 onwards you're liable to die at any given moment. Past 75, you can finally chill out and relax cause you survived and each year after that is like bonus time.

The 30s > 20s, and basically everyone I know that's hit that age & beyond agrees. I think this is even more accurate for our generation, because in general it's taken us longer to hit a comfortable spot in life & have our shit together so to speak.

I'm gonna use medical crystal methamphetamine when I hit 50. Who's down?

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

The FDA will cook it for us by the time we are in our 50s. Godwilling.

Yeah I met my wife at 19. I am now 29. And I can say for sure life has never been so good.
Over the years we quit all our addictions (she quit smoking, we both quit blow). We both got awesome jobs after working multiple shifty ones. We own our own home after living in family members basements or attics. We are both in the best shape of our lives having developed awesome workout disciplines. We have paid off all our debt from 30 000 to 400 dollars. We own our own car after freezing our asses of on the bus for years. We both finished out masters degrees after struggling with the stress of school for years and years .
And so on.
Life is just getting better and all the Awful stupidity and mistakes and struggles of youth are gradually fading away into contentment and well being .
