Hunting Tips for Gyms?!

I am really instrested in gyms and i read just about every info about them on the internet. And also ive been hunting in the woods a lot (im going every 2 or 3 days for at least 6-7h of hunting). But i still didnt find any gymnopilus. I would want to ask some tips to know when gyms will fruit. I am sure that if there was some gyms i would have found them for sure. I read that they grow from july to late autumn and even all year long if given the right conditions. Also some say that they dont apear before sept-oct and need cold temps. So my questions are:
1. Do they fruit in august? (From july to late fall or in fall?) 2. What are those "conditions" that they need to grow all year long? 3. Are they more common in coniferous or dedicious forests? Where in your experience did you find the most? (pics would help too) 4. What other mushrooms are a sign that gymns will or are fruiting?
Some said that they will pop up after jack o lanterns and mushrooms of the same genus (i found a shit ton of them) So i will list a few of the mushrooms i found so you can guess if its the right time for gyms to fruit: Boletes (all kinds and even king boletus), chanterelles, russulas, milk cap, different amanitas, reishi, puffballs, different omphalotus (and jack o lanterns), and a lot more mushrooms i couldnt indentify. Because the informations about gyms seem to vary a lot i would like some help. I am in Hungary (central europe) and im staying here until august 25 so i cant wait until fall Thanks.

I had an old friend that found them growing on a stump, year after year. SW PA.
It was bright orange with bright orange spores, almost dripping with it. Very wet and fresh if I remember. Some purple bruising too.
Extremely bitter tasting, mildly trippy. More of a swirly feeling than a square feeling, if you know what I mean.
Not sure if they're worth pursuing, you have to eat a lot of them for it to work and they're hard to stomach. And possibly poisonous varietals out there.

Yeah i know but i think its the only one i can find here in the summer because even after heavy rain i couldnt find any panaeolus cintulus and i searched everywhere in different substrates for cinct. The thing is that i am in hungary for vacations and i will leave the 25 august so i cant wait for the autumnal species. And in my country i can found 0 info about actives and its pretty dry so i dont think i can find any there.

Now as I recall and for a couple of months you might find some. European G. junonius is said not to be active. Woodchips and pine might fruit some stray G. dilepis but it might be a long-shot. Happy hunting.

Hey, as you know I live next to you, in Ro. I've found liberty caps on 4 August here. Go in the highest place you can get and look in high grass, and sedge clumps. Maybe you get lucky too.
