Where does it grow? Melbourne Australia
What does it grow on? wood chips (not sure which kind)
Stem: short, thin, brown with a white flour-ish substance
Spore Print: Just picked them so no spore print
Bruising: cant really tell, some of them have very bright blue on the base of the stem

Not even slightly close.
They look like Mycena to me. Wait for someone more experienced. I know there are some bluing Mycena species. Those do actually look to be bruising blue at the base unless it's some weird lighting. Very cool. Pretty positive there are no active Mycena though. Hopefully someone more experienced stops by.
Until then, .
edit: M. Subcaerulea perhaps?

They are a Mycena species (along the lines of Mycena subcaerulea or Mycena amitca). They're not psychoactive. Some Mycena species are toxic, so it eating them is not recommended.

If you are as noob as me then finding ones that aren't it seem to be the path to really knowing which ones ARE.
