Do you have to let a print dry before you can make a spore syringe?

i don't see why you would need to seeing as how you have to wet them to suck them up in the syringe

I still would. Drying it out kills a lot of bacteria that would otherwise survive if you straight up put it in a syringe.

IME it is best to not only dry the print, but age it for a few months if possible. The best seems to be 3 to 6 months for best chance of contamination free growth.

I would say 4 out of 5 prints folded wet were horribly bacterial for me.  Learned that the hard way.

Also if you fold them while wet they have a tendency to not look as pretty and clump together, or at least in my experience.
