The power of music

It's dumbfounding how influential music of any sort can be on a trip; acting almost as a tour guide throughout the trip. IME, tripping while listening to music is a COMPLETELY different experience than tripping and listening to the hustle and bustle of the world.. Would you guys agree that your music appreciation has broadened to a wide variety of music? Any good deep/soul house recommendations?

Yep. IMO it's one of the only departments L beats shrooms in but music can be fantastic on shrooms as well and deeply emotional. On LSD is just sounds so gnarly and riveting, aesthetically pleasing to the max like my appreciation for any form of art especially relating to sounds has just been cranked up.

Listen to that song on acid, I guarantee the build up at 1.30 will blow your mind.

Does LSD really enhance music that much more than shrooms? Only did it once and didn't have music...
I find that on shrooms, even when I have music playing, I end up turning it off because I want to focus more on the hallucinations.
You people are convincing me to try LSD again.

I would definitely give it another go with music if I were you.
For me on shrooms the music seems to add to the hallucinations

The music on shrooms just adds to the crazy visuals ime, and it's causing me to appreciate it more. For example, the Daft Punk song Digital Love has a guitar solo that will forever be tied in my mind to the moving colors of this small art work I have at home. The colors were moving with the music - maybe the music was moving them or vice versa.
I try to avoid anything that is too dark/aggressive/negative, just play some awesome disco/electronic (Todd Terje's "It's Album Time" is my absolute favorite) and enjoy the good vibes.

Music goes wonderfully with Ayahuasca, ime. I don't like taking it in silence, plus in silence things just feel stale like the experience isn't moving forward. But i listen to some music and it kicks things into gear and drives/directs the experience. I love music.

The music is the 'hallucinations'. It's all one thing.
If you ever think you've 'felt' music before, on LSD, you really FEEL the music.
