I'm not quite at that level, but yeah I feel your pain, slip.

Even though they do give me the shivers I'm still able to go up to it and kill it given the opportunity. The last one I saw -- and it wasn't exactly small one -- I crept up to it with a wad of paper towel in my hand and snatched him as quick as I could and then smashed his ass. And then I tossed it and that paper towel into a grocery bag and tied up the bag...the little motherfucker was still in there moving, too.

<shudder>

I threatened to burn the entire house down if she didn't get home before it got away. If he had escaped I wouldn't of been able to sleep. If it's in my room, I have got to see a dead body. The last time I just assumed I wouldn't see it again and went about my business, I woke up with it on me. Everyone knows not to fuck with me when it comes to roaches. I will get straight up violent. Throw that dead one on me because "it'll be funny", see what happens, I dare you.

It's all cuz of a dream I had when I was a really young kid too. I wasn't always afraid of them, I even kept one in a jar and fed it slices of cheese, I barely remember it because I was so young. I had a nightmare where I woke up and everything seemed normal, it was very real, didn't seem dream like at all.. but something was tickling me under the covers and I lifted them up and from the neck down I was covered in them to the point you couldn't see skin or clothes. It literally traumatized me because I've been deathly afraid of them ever since.
