.8 acres is weak.
At least 100 acres to roam freely without seeing any neighbors would be ideal

That's what's so insane about those Beverly Hills properties. They like start at frigging 10 million, and yet you're still close enough to talk to your neighbor from you patio if they're on their patio.

Its crazy to think of peoples range of income.
I mean it goes from 20 grand a year to a billion a year. Some "only" make a million or so a year, some ten mill, some 100 million, etc. etc.
Ive seen million dollar house on Love It Or List It and they were not even that amazing. Like they were nice, but it was no mansion. Location has a lot to do with as well as the land the property has and of course all the sq footage too.

Oh yeah man, it's pretty wild. Like we look at these actors and shit as super rich motherfuckers, and they are, but it's all relative. Like that Indian tycoon that built that billion dollar skyscraper to use as a home...all these celeb actors/recording artists couldn't even afford a one month mortgage on that place

Yup. Location, location, location.

Look at this shit. 700 grand. You don't even get a bedroom. It's just a studio. Doesn't even list the square feet because it's probably like 500. Or shit, less. And look at it -- it looks like the damn projects.
But hey it's Manhattan.
Money ain't worth shit these days

This is all insanity. I mean, people should be free to spend their money on whatever they want, and if they want to buy absolute insanity then they should feel free to pay for it. But this is just crazy. No one needs something like that. That's a god damn castle. No one needs a castle. Not even silicon valley CEOs live in houses like that.
In fact, most actual rich people would never be caught dead in a house like that. This just screams "I have no idea how to handle being rich." This is just a thing for people who suddenly came into waaay too much money, and who are too stupid to do anything useful with it.
Most actual rich people (both multigenerational wealth and those who were successful entrepreneurs and business people etc.) live in very ordinary normal looking houses in normal looking neighborhoods (although obviously very upscale houses in unbelievably excellent neighborhoods). They don't have this need to shout "LOOK AT ME I HAVE MONEY LOOK AT ALL MY MONEY," in fact there is nothing that actual rich people hate more than that.
Real rich people go through great lengths to look just like everyone else. They buy all the nicest things of course, but they take care to make sure these things blend in. This is why high end cars look so similar to medium price cars.
This kind of stuff is just for stupid people who happen to have suddenly come into entirely too much money (eg actors/actresses, sports players, etc).

You don't just give your money away like that unless you're Forest Gump-level stupid. You set up charities, you give research grants to fight disease, you create jobs for the people who need shit instead of just irresponsibly, and retardedly, just handing them cash.
I would never just give away money to people if I had it. I'd use my resources to give people a chance to succeed on their own.

That house doesn't even look nice from the outside, it just looks like a giant university or apartment complex.
I prefer more modern-art type houses. I prefer the very sleek, high-tech type of look. Some people say it looks cold and sterile like a museum, but I like that really clean look.

At least you get a tiny little patio though

That's actually average for Manhattan. And that is actually a nice apartment for the price. I've seen apartments that are the size of a closet, and old as shit, not even renovated go for over $1 million in Midtown Manhattan.

Yah, modern is just too minimalist for me. I do like futuristic houses, but too simple.
There are so many types of houses out there. I believe Niffla likes Modern style too.
