I've never tossed a tub that just fell apart trying to grab it it was my mazzie tub that was 2 months old and didn't give me shit ... do you think it was over saturated? Cause the top always seem to dry out so I'd most it pretty good but would that be a dialing in issue ?

Ya it looked funky but if it was waterlogged how could you fix that ? I had poured a quart of water down the sides like 3 weeks ago and had only been misting but only when it looked dry which was stoned twice a day ?

You fix waterlogging by not waterlogging it really... Or I guess, draining the water and letting it dry out. The top surface might still need misting but . A problem best solved by avoidance.

Well duh haha I just mean it seemed to be dry when I put that quart in which it seemed pretty dry and I only let it sit for maybe an hour at most and dumped out all the excess ... it was going for about a month in a half or so when I did that ? So maybe it wasn't as dry as I thought do you think that's why I had pins turn all blue and mushy?

If it was that squishy maybe it was more an issue of whatever contamination it had than actual waterlogging. I wouldn't be able to say without handling it myself, which wouldn't be enjoyable by the sound of it.

Well that's not nice LMAO can you waterlog by misting ? I very rarely pool and if I do I soak it up but I must one or two time a day depending on how it looks ... it was pretty yellow so I'm sure it had some nastiness in it

Oh I'm sure of it man ... how can you tell the sub needs to be bottom watered? Obviously if it looks dry but like I said the top looked dry and some spots were bluing after I watered it the bluing went away but obviously was drenched

Pinset and spawn ratio are the hints. If I used a high spawn ratio, the pinset is crazy, I might need some more water. The kicker is when it pills from the side hard before the pins are an inch tall. That's the sign it will need a little more.

Naw that ain't much. Like pulled away half an inch or more. It won't pull much until pins are in at least. If you water too soon it will actually fuck up the subs ability to pin properly.

Oh I thought you meant the side pools my bad OK I understand... I will keep that in mind on these tubs I have in fruiting ... does it matter about bottom watering or misting heavily with cubes? I have more pe than anything but the rest are basic
