Shroomery merch 1

Any chance of some Shroomery merchandise coming back? I'd be willing to help make it happen. I've worked with many different clothing lines over the years and would happily donate my time to help get some tees, hoodies or any other clothing merchandise going.

Shroomery hemp backpacks
-------------------- How to get started in bulk: Presto 23-Quart Pressure Cooker BOD's Simple as FUCK Still Air Box PastyWhyte's Easy Agar Tek Munchauzen's Cultivation Video Series How EvilMushroom666 Prepares His Grains (I use jars with Synthetic Filter Discs) What is G2G? (Grain-to-Grain) Damion5050's Coir Tek (I use 5.5 - 6 quarts of water instead of 4. Also ignore step 13 and ignore the monotub completely. The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary) Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful) Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

Foraging bags are one of my next products. I've got some prototypes made. I'm currently looking into getting samples made and costs on small run production. It would be great to do a nice embroidered shroomery logo.

I just use mesh laundry bags or onion bags.
What do "normal" foraging bags look like/made of?

There aren't really any "normal" foraging bags which is why I'm making them. The bags I'm making have a mesh bottom with a canvas top that has pockets inside and out to hold stuff like a field guide and phone and also has clips for a knife and a water bottle holder. The current design also has add on mesh bags that clip to the shoulder strap so you can keep species separate.

What happen to the merch store?
Was it cause of legal reasons perhaps?
I think it would be cool to have a glass Shroomery-themed pendent to put on a necklace.

I PMed our lord and savior Ythan around december because i remembered seeing a store with shroomery hoodies and stuff and couldnt find it anymore and wanted one.
He basically told me the company they were dealing with did a 180 and changed their whole business model so things got a little wonky.
He did say they know there is a demand for shroomery gear and they do have plans to bring it back but they were in the middle of switching servers or something and other things that take priority and that there should be a return at some point but it might not be a while.
hopefully its soon but we'll see

Cool. Thanks, SirShroomsAlott! I did send an email out asking if they wanted help getting it set-up again. I have a lot of contacts for screening, printing and manufacturing clothing. I hope they take me up on it and I can help to bring it back soon!

You know TBH, if satchels or foraging bags are gonna be made, I guarantee the MH&I crews during official seasons would be a wide audience. Especially people who are looking to get into it long term, or people who have been here awhile still not having a good bag.
Having something for knife, compass, specimen container slots, camera pocket, field notes/maps. Stores don't sell stuff like that. If they do they're bright colors or have logos. A plain brown or beige satchel would be fantastic. If you got this going I bet both sides would make a lot. The bag can double as anything. You see new pickers asking what to hold stuff in all the time, myself included, and it's kind of a pain to dig specific tools out.. tighten your pack back up, put it back on, find more specimens and dig in your pack again for a small trowel or something, rinse and repeat and all you're doing is burning daylight.

Hey man! I saw your support ticket and I was going to reply but I figured I'd post here in case anyone else was wondering. SirShroomsAlott pretty much nailed it; we were doing our merchandise through Printfection, which was a print on demand company kind of like Zazzle, but then they changed their business model and shut down all the stores. In the past we've had our own merchandise screen printed and we handled the fulfillment ourselves, but it was a big pain in the ass... we couldn't provide the fast fulfillment that people expect, and we ended up with a lot of hoodies in weird sizes and colors just sitting around. Basically, when we were selling merchandise ourselves, it wasn't really worth the time and effort except that it was cool to be promoting the site and spreading Shroomery merchandise. But print on demand seems like a much better fit for our needs because we have a relatively low volume of sales. I think it's awesome that people want Shroomery swag and I want to set up a new store on a site like Zazzle, or Printful or Printaura or whatever, but our main focus right now has been on the upcoming mobile site. I promise we'll get to it eventually, however if anybody wants a high-resolution copy of any of our shirt designs, you can find the images here and have you own merchandise printed in the interim. There's no problem as long as it's for personal (vs. commercial) purposes.
The ideas about creating our own products like foraging bags and pendants sound really cool, however product development and order fulfillment are a big departure from our primary mission. At the end of the day we're just here to provide a website with useful information; something like a clothing company is beyond our scope. However if someone is interest in partnering up and has the experience to handle the development of new products and order fulfillment, please get in touch!

Adden, this is just what I'm doing. I know we've been in touch through PM but I wanted to post here also for anyone else interested. I'm meeting with my sample maker this weekend to go over final details and get a few samples made. I've been working on this for months and have provisional patents on a couple design aspects and am hoping the design patents go through. I have a few different designs I'll be making over time but I'm starting with a base model first.
The base model has an upper portion made from duck cloth that can be oiled to make it waterproof. The lower portion is a nylon mesh. It has a large inner pocket for maps, field guides, etc. It has an outer zipper pocket for phone, keys, etc. It has a nylon webbing that you can clip a carabiner and a knife to as well as a water bottle holder. One of the add-ons are additional mesh bags that can clip inside the main bag and also to the shoulder straps so you can keep species separate.

I am. That was the reason I got in touch with you. The foraging bags are somewhat separate because I'll be selling them independently and eventually trying to licence them out so I don't have to manufacture them. But, while I am making them I'd love to do an embroidered Shroomery version, only available here, with a percentage of sales going to you guys.
In terms of new product development, sales and fulfillment, lets talk more about this. I know you're focus is the mobile site but if we can work out some general details I can take it from there.

Cool idea. While I don't really have the skills, expertise, time, and to some extent interest to be involved in the supply and production side of things, I've got an old design I drew under the influence, then proceeded to custom print on shirts. I never sold it or licensed it or anything, and I currently possess both of the shirts I printed, so there shouldn't be any issues with legality. I do get compliments on the shirts from time to time. Feel free to use this without attribution or compensation. Though, someone with a good knowledge of photoshop should probably go back and get rid of some of the faint ink guidelines.
Design:

I'll also attach a pdf in case in case of resolution loss, and for ease of download.

Sounds like we need to make our own shroomery-themed gear?
I know some stores around that do shirt printing, and hat printing. This could work for me, as Ythan posted a link to some hi res shroomery images

The ones I'm making are. I'm still waiting on my sample maker. She will hopefully get it together this week. The samples being made are dark green canvas top with a brown mesh bottom.

Bags that hang under arm pit are ideal. if worn under jacket. Just unzip jacket while picking then when you stand up, it hangs under your arm pit in an inconspicuous way. Can't be to bulky so you don't look like your concealing something.

It don't really matter all that much... To legally look inside of your bag they need your permission or a warrant... Unless they catch you on your hands and knees balls deep into a picking rampage you're good.

If I get caught, its definitely from that exact scenario. In other words. Caught slipping. Side note: Someone on community custody, could be searched anytime. Especially with weapons violations.
