Hello everyone, today was my 2nd day out. Found a decent amount of shrooms and I'm going to try an ID them. I want to learn how to get a general idea of how to ID shrooms before I start looking for actives solely. So bear with me as these will probably be wrong but I'm trying to learn and become better and hopefully become as good as a lot of common members I see here.

1. Bolete edulis?

2. Trichaptum biforme

3. Some Amanita sp. ?

4. I think some Russula sp

5. Not sure tbh..

6. Also can't really ID

7. Also this one not sure, but when's a good time to recheck when it grows more or is it even worth it?

So yeah these are my results for day 2, also it just rained on the 30th and the forecast for the rest of the week is sunny. When is an optimal time to go out and hunt? For my 3rd hunt I'm going to try and look for actives here in NH. Just not sure when's the best time to go weather wise. Anyways, thanks for all the help and happy foraging everyone!
