SO I have to have my router in one room and an ethernet cable wont make it through a couple doorways as well and snaking it around the floor.
I have seen a wifi extender that basically extends the wifi.
Anyone recommend any to buy?
I have a card in my desktop to pick up wifi and only get 2 out of 5 bars.
Would like to game online but due to lag am looking for a better solution.
It is not possible to have an ethernet cable at this time

Router have removable antennas? Easiest route is to replace one or more with a higher dBi antenna. The little ones that come on them are 2 maybe 3dBi at most. You can find dipoles ("stick" antenna) that are up to 10dBi. If you're really feeling frisky, there's stuff like this. I had one of those on my router in the basement, pointing up, and had full signal strength in the 3rd floor attic.

Here you go. Much better response times than wifi, faster to.
Ok i like this but I have a question. From what i see it looks like I need to plug the Ethernet cord into the device to extend the wifi.
Is there anyway to have a wifi extender without the need to directly connect the router to the device?

I only get 2/5 bars which is shitty because the router is only in the next room.
Looking at the link you gave me it would replace what I have which kinda sucks because I spent 80$ on this PCI wireless card already.
uuuuuuuggggghhh this sucks

That's not a wifi extender. Whilst there is such a device (you plug one end near your router and hook it up with an ethernet cable, the other end in the room of your choice and it sends an ethernet signal over the mains, then sends it out over an ethernet to wifi bridge.
The link I posted is an ethernet over mains adaptor. You plug one ethernet cable into your router, and then the other into the computer or device of your choice

I don't see any ethernet socket in this one so it might be a case of it just repeating any wireless signal that comes close. I don't have experience with this, I prefer ethernet.
