Damn! That looks good. I like the idea of bacon wrapped jalapenos stuffed with pineapple teriyaki cream cheese. I might have to try that one!
Last night I made a blackened swordfish with an orange and cinnabar chanterelle sauce, garlic and grapefruit asparagus and cheddar garlic mashed red potatoes. I'll have to remember to start taking pictures!

Repo - all your pictures look awesome. I'm going to have to contribute to this thread, my go-to meal is NY strip (w/ a hint of lime, pink salt, a little beer, and fresh herbs), corn on the cob with cannabutter and old bay, and a grilled salad - I usually make that on 2 or 3 nights out of the week.
I want to look into making fresh chili - I keep buying this chili in a can thats like $2.59 a can, its really good - but after eating it the sodium is overbearing (and I really, really like salt) but I tried making it before in the crock pot and it turned out so-so.
I'm a bachelor - and have given up fast food - but my problem is I don't really like leftovers (I usually make 2 dinners, and eat one at 6pm, and another at 10pm). Breakfast and lunch are boring food, but dinner time is where I have the time/motivation/beer to start cooking.

Exceed, without motivation nothing happens, like pulling teeth when you don't know what you want. Off today and going to make something nice. Thinking seafood maybe?

There's tons of great chili recipes online, but here's my go to quick chili recipe that tastes great, gets cooked in one pot, and is ready to eat quickly for chili. (about 1 hour) It seems like a lot of ingredients but it's basically just sauteing the meat and chili's then throwing everything else in and simmering for an hour.
1lb of ground beef or bison 1 large yellow onion 2 jalapeno chili peppers 2 serrano peppers 2 banana peppers 1 large can crushed tomatoes (or 2 small cans) 1 tiny can tomatoe paste 1 can black beans 1 can red kindey beans (I like the dark red) 1 can unsalted corn 1 tbs paprika 1 tbs apple cider or balsamic vinegar 1 tbs brown sugar salt and pepper to taste
Dice the onions and all the peppers and add them into a large pot on med-high with as much oil as needed. (a couple tbs.) Dash with salt while cooking.
saute until golden brown.
Add your meat and cook until rare. (you don't need to over cook the meat. It will keep cooking in the pot) Dash with salt while cooking.
Add all your cans of stuff except the tomato paste.
Stir well then add paprika, vinegar and sugar and another dash of salt and pepper.
Cook this on med heat, covered, for 15 mins.
Add the can of tomato paste, reduce to low, and simmer for another 45 or until you get really hungry and just want to eat it.
It tastes good after a total of 30 minutes. If you have the time to simmer for 1 hour it's better. Also the kinds of peppers can be swapped out if you have some favorites or want more or less heat. I always try to use 3 different types of fresh peppers though to give it a more complex heat. This also freezes really well so you can save leftovers for another time.

Geez you two, thanks!! THIS is my new favorite thread.
I will be making the above chili this weekend I hope.
I made country spare ribs last night - and I had this OLD marinade McCormick spice (could of been 3+ years old) - it needed oil, vinegar, and water - and it was THE WORST. It was so overwhelming, it was a southwest mix. I should of done my regular improvised rub instead of that crap. I'm just glad I didn't waste good steak cuts with it. But I only ate one quarter of the meat, gave half to my room mate (who is low on money until tomorrow, like, he has none). And had to pitch the other part of it.
I also have cannabutter I made (ok, well - the Magical Butter machine "made" it) - For these raspberry bars I'll be making - I wanted to add a fresh raspberry puree on top.
I also bought 3lbs of snow crab legs to steam up this weekend - I usually add a little beer, a shot of apple vinegar, salt, and a crab spice called JO Spice. Is there anything you guys would add to that? I usually steam for about 15 minutes, pull the steamer pot off, and let them sit for another 5 minutes.
Anyways I have two pics to contribute!! Sorry if its basic stuff for right now. I hope the pics work for me.

Ah! Chopin Vodka!
How does it taste? Is it something you buy regularly?
I just bought my favourite vodka this week. Bison Grass. Very clean taste, though ironically it's usually mixed with something....

Zubrowka is the best! Sadly, it's now illegal in the good ol' U.S. of A.

Indeed! What reason do they give for making it illegal?

It was completely legal for the longest time, but then about ten or twelve years ago someone in the FDA decided that the anti-coagulant properties of the bison grass were too dangerous for consumption. Seems like bullshit, probably is, there may be a different real reason. But that's the official one.
