Would this be enough air exchange?

Hello everyone, I will be using a propagator for fruiting and the problem is that I am not at home in all day except in the night so I can't manually fan. This is what it looks like:
So I'm thinking of cutting a little ditch or band on every side of the propagator and cover it with a long piece of micro-pore, I'll put a PC fan in the top extracting air so the fresh air comes through the filter, something like this:
Put a timer so it's extracting air during 15 minutes every 4 hours. Do you think it would be enough. I am open to new sugestions. Best regards.

I would just go with something that works before blazing your own trail.
Build a SGFC or monotub if you're only home a little bit. SGFC only have to mist a couple times a day, don't have to fan except when you mist and actually you don't need to fan at all
Monotub requires zero effort on your part if dialed in correctly.
Those are the two most automated FC designs there are and they work really well. They're passive rather than active so they work by virtue of design to provide FAE.

I bought a seed thing like that and added loads of holes, and it didnt work well, i then made an sgfc as per the specs on here, with the full four inches perlite beneath the cakes, and that worked very well

I encourage anyone wanting to use a computer fan to search and find 10 examples of a FC that uses one producing results half as good as what you can pull out of a SGFC.

well as part of learning how to do research in 4th grade library day, I was told something is efficacious if there's some sort of paper trail of success, a following that replicated the results and posted examples etc...

Thank you for all the answers,
What worries me is dirty air coming in without passing through a filter, I have a dog and I don't want hairs in the FC, also flies or any shit that can come in through the window of the room.
I see some fruiting chambers where they cover the holes with polyfil, or the one where you do lots of holes and then covered completely with micropore and they seem to work well.
Why do you say it won't work? Wouldn't be enough FAE? That's the only thing that I am thinking that could be a problem because temperature is OK and It won't dry out very quick doing this.
Beside this that I want to try, I could manually fan and mist when I get home in the evening and in the morning before leaving.
Best regards.

This.
It's fun to experiment...but if you're gonna go hard, do something that has been tested to give results.
Just build a SGFC man.
Just do it!

fruiting isn't a sterile process anyway, what you see arent filters its just stuffing to control air flow. sgfc's should not have the holes covered with mp tape, mushrooms will still grow of course just much weaker.
Just trust the TEK and dont deviate, they're written as they are for a reason.

Fresh fully colonized cakes are contamination resistant, if you produce fully colonized healthy cakes you're good. Regardless what you put them afterwards as soon as you birth them in open air likely thousands of not millions of contam spores land on them. Just blindly follow the reccomended teks, they are written for your best chance of success. When you go thinking for yourself on your first grow is how you screw up.

The less fresh air they get the more likely they are to contam, so, reverse your thinking.
