Ok everyone so I initially decided to start a pf tek and have 3 jars going, I resent the confusion but I ended up getting the tall 1 pint wide mouth, then this kind of threw me off a bit and instead of making 4 inoc points I made a 3 point triangle. Inoculation wa super weird for me 1cc per jar I felt paranoid but tried sticking to that as much as possible I think I ended up putting 1.5 to 2 The very first shot kind of shot more than I wanted about 1cc then to compensate I just dribbled the remaining into the other 2 points now im wandering if I messed up the moisture content or if itll even germinate this is day 4 Yesterday I got done prepping gotlib popcorn tek and folled both docs and franks wbs tek I made 3 jars 1 full wbs 1 full popcorn and 50/50 popcorn and wbs pcd 70 minutes 1/4" point with polyfill, coffee filter (not to filter but to keep the polyfill in place snug worked great) and alumn foil I did 1 full cc each this felt good as if each jar got a consistent amount Ive read you could put hydroton lava rocks in the bottom of jars to minimize the amount of brf in these tall jars anybody know of this I did all these for hands on to see which method works best for me just kind of bummed I havent seen nothing although I read it could take a week just for germ

They could take 2 weeks to germ....they do what they want when they want.
I would have PC'd for 90 minutes not 70. I always do at least 90.

Yea ive read even longer for wbs but I had the popcorn in there too and wasnt sure if I could go longer, I had a reall y hard time getting the moisture content (wbs) according to tek I had to lay out some paper towel to soak up as much as possible then it felt damp and not completely wet I hope that wasnt too bad.

It's hard to PC for too long. I've never used those grains before but some people PC 4+ hours for big batches.

Good to know, I wasnt sure if time was a factor for moisture content or something else

Moisture content is more determined by how you prep your grain. Only way you could PC too much is if it ran out of water!
