Classic Drummers

Hey guys! Just curious to who your favorite classic drummers are? I feel in a way alot of the real jazz/fusion drummers died out in the 80s. You could really hear the jazz influence in alot of the old drumming in ALOT of 80s rock. Super tight.

Ive been trying to learn the Purdy Shuffle for a long time now and it still fucking gets me every time. Its such an amazing groove once you stick it and just lock right in to it.

Really digged the second guy!
Bonham is a fav for sure.
I've always been into old school drum&bass and the sorts and dug the breaks they used. I just recently started digging deeper into the origins of the breaks.
Can't remember names, but that sort of stuff is great.
I'm a bass player, but I still learn so much from drummers.

Fucking eh man! Also Billy Cobham is amazing too. Especially back with the Maha Vishnu. Also Mercyful Fate's drummer was super tight too (his name escapes me at the moment)
