Identification
    #23492649 - 07/30/16 01:42 PM (7 years, 6 months ago)

What are theese? Found them in louisville, kentucky growing from a pothole where there may have been a tree at one point. They were alot more lively when I saw them yesterday. And they have purplish black spores. After one night of being picked they produced a dark liquid. Almost inky that has a slight odor, but not a stong one. When I first saw them they were a little smaller than average size mushrooms and were white/cream colored with a simple stem. Any ideas what they are. Do they contain psilocybin? [.jpg][/u [.jpg][/u

If they turned to black slime it is likely they are inky caps.  Not active.

Gymnopilus junonius, panaeolus cinctulus, psilocybe caerulipes and psilocybe ovoideocystidiata are the only psilocybin mushrooms that grow in Kentucky. What you have is neither of these. Good luck mushroom hunting though and keep looking. :shroompick:
