Cultivating Frequent Low-Dosage Use
    #23491963 - 07/30/16 09:23 AM (7 years, 5 months ago)

Hello all

This is not my first time here, but it has been years.

I intend to eat azurescens frequently with low-mild doses, to help with depression and fogginess I am posting in hopes to glean from others' knowledge and experience with this kind of use.

Also, I have experienced paralysis and numbness from azures, and I can't seem to find any information on the toxicity or chemical identifications of this mushroom. I have my doubts to use this long-term.

Many thanks, K

Azurecens cannot be reliably cultivated indoors.
Why not use a more reasonable species...

From what I've read it's folklore and misidentifying its also hard to find any info about it which makes it even more unbelievable

Im not so sure about that.
I've never tried azures, but have had plenty of experience with cubes, high doses 10 grams plus..
I think paralysis is very real. Its happened to me and a girlfriend of mine a few times.
It hasn't happened often, but when it has it was kinda overwhelming, high doses can do some weird things. ime
But i don't believe there is any risk of respiratory depression or any permanent damage from it.

With high doses you're at the mercy of the mushroom. I know for sure I've expierenced this as well as a few others.
It is real.

it's not paralysis you just think that because you're tripping. Happens on high doses of most psychs to me..

thread basically disagrees with itself from start to end, its called explanation of paralysis then right in the OP it says " I really have very little idea of what causes it. "

then some talk about it only happening on wood lovers, and people says it happened on cyans,
then some talk about how tea negates the paralysis followed by anecdotes on how it happned to them on tea.

TL;DR Its called tripping, if you dont like it find something else to do :super:

i have had plenty of high doses(of cubes, but not azurecens) and never, not even once, was(or thought i was) paralyzed... i can always walk and move around. sometimes i dont want to, but i still can.

what's a high dose to you? If I eat close to an oz there's no way I'm moving, more like spasming.

i mean, ive eaten up to 10-12g dry.. not PE, but yeah. that i count as a really high dose for me. ive never eaten an oz, though, so... =p

maybe that would do it. but idk if i would call it paralysis, still. just tripping, like you said.

'Questionable people'
Ok no need to be condescending.
By paralysis I mean my brain can not physically control coordinated movement's.
I could roll around on the floor, so its not quite the official definition of paralysis.
But there was absolutely no way i could walk or make coordinated movement's.

I agree though its just part of tripping on extremely high doses. So maybe not quite the cliniica
def. of paralysis.

Also shouldn't this be in TPE

Not saying that the whole paralytic thing is true but some mushrooms are known to absorb toxins from the wood/substrate they grow on.

Would it be possible that there is a correlation between woodlovers paralytic effect coupled with high doses and what its growing on?

since it is an effect of tripping, and not eating mushrooms, no. many substances are made in a lab and not grown on anything.

When everthing looks like through a caleidoscope on MDMA I dont say I'm going blind or losing my vision, I say oh man I'm tripping.

this sounds like something the funny people over at TPE started, yeah.
do dealer grade shrooms cause paralysis too?

Take enough of any psilocybe and you will not only be paralyzed, you may also piss and shit yourself while doing the floppy chicken on the floor.

Super potent species like azurescens are going to have this happen more, especially with people who are inexperienced. But even carefully isolated cubes will throw a novice through a wall and blast their face out their asshole. Buy the ticket, take the ride.

Yeah I had an oz of cubes. Vastly different from 10g. Pasty summed it up nicely. I did indeed piss myself that trip. Had to pee every 15 minutes and I couldn't fuckin move lol. Tho looking back I'm not sure if I couldn't move, or if I wouldn't move xD
