July 11th marked the conclusion of my 30 day challenge. Of the 30 days, I attended 28 days, but made up those missed days by attending 2 classes in one day twice. Currently I attend class 3-4 days per week since completing the challenge.
Anyhow, I would like to list how hot yoga is noticeably benefiting me:
1) My almost 10 year chronic lower back problem is no longer causing aggravating pain. If this was the only benefit I received, it would be sufficient to continue practicing.
2) My mood, attitude, and disposition to life, people, and events that take place around me are continuing to shift to being present and aware. It has become much easier to just "let go" and "let be".
3) Sleep. . . it's sound and sweet. I feel much more rested upon waking up, even though I usually only get 4-6 hours per cycle.
4) No more of those 40+ year-old aches, creaks, and pains upon waking up or sitting for an extended period of time. This is evidence of healthy blood circulation.
5) Much more flexibility, balance, and strength, of course.
6) General food cravings have subsided, especially for sweets and such. I don't struggle watching what I put in "the tank." My relationship with food has turned symbiotic.
7) Not that I needed to lose weight, but I'm down 10 lbs. and holding steady at about 192.
8) Digestion and elimination are smoother. . . this wasn't an issue before though.
9) Almost non-existent alcohol consumption. I've only had one drink since June 16th, and that was the night I saw Stephen Marley.
10) I rarely dry body brush anymore. It seems the profuse sweating does the exfoliating. I'll brush on occasion, but it's out of habit. . . plus I like having soft skin.
So there you have it, a short-list pitch to consider Bikram yoga if you're looking for a workout routine with immediate results for mind, body, and spirit.
As much as lies within me and the ability to continue practicing:
Bikram yoga for life

Thanks! I wish I would've come across this yoga much earlier in life.
I forgot to mention, I also haven't experienced a migraine headache since practicing.
Guess that eliminates microdosing for that purpose.
