Contamination on the cake or not?
    #23481050 - 07/27/16 02:00 AM (7 years, 7 months ago)

Since this happened even before my first flush I am not sure if this is a contamination or just psilocybin (i usually noticed small blue spots after several flushes)

There's something going on here. Those black dots aren't normal. Almost look like the base of a mushroom when it is infected with either vert or pseudomonas.

Well once it fell down so I put on the gloves and put the cake back on its position, so I can't tell if I was gentle or if I squeezed it to much ..

Maybe I can test this somehow or you think I should just get rid of the cake?

Has this ever personally happened to you? Because it hasn't ever happened to me, and I made a thread on why things bruise.

Yeah op like I said, shit looks uncanny to the bottom of stems infected with vert and/or pseudomonas. Considering I've never told people to toss for such a minor infection, don't toss these. Bacteria and/or vert could just weaken the myc enough for other contaminations like trich to germinate tho, so keep an eye on it regardless.

Yep check my first grow thread I picked up my cake and it bruised never with spraying tbh but every time I pick up a cake I bruise it and I'm really carefull guess I'm just heavy handed
Happens in about the exact amount of time as when I squeeze a shroom

That was it happened after I picked it up through the plastic and it disappeared after a couple days also there were 4 same colour circular marks on the other side but less severely dark coloured
And yeah i know how shitty that bag was

:takingnotes: idk I still am not convinced  I've dropped substrates, crumbled substrates, dunked them and what not, never have I seen it bruise. Not saying it doesn't happen to you, but I've seriously been doing this for 6 years, and only bruising I've seen is from contaminations and it being dry af
