Update Pics: After 10+ grows with SGFC onto a monotub

Gonna use this as a log for my first tub and just make sure everything is going well, I have 3 quarts of spawn and am going to use a mini mono tub and just use half a brick of do it instead of a full one. Got my polyfil and purchasing my holesaw tomorrow to make my Monotub!
Will post pics of the mono when its completed to see if its properly dialed in, anyway I'm excited to move onto bulk!

Okay so quick question regarding the tub. Is there some kind of lining I should put at the bottom of the tub to put the sub in?

You can if you want. Helps prevent side/bottom pinning and makes it easier to lift the substrate out, bottom water, etc.

50/50 verm coir is one hell of a weird recipe for substrate.
Damion5050 is a username. His TEK is more like 80/20 coir/verm

You also don't have to pasteurize it.

I meant the damions5050 was really high when I posted lol. But I didnt known I didn't have to pasteurize the sub. Thought the reason for it was to clean/sterilize the sub.
But I did the 80/20 mix I prolly shouldve written the post better haha, pretty confusing the way I put it now that I reread it.

Good luck with it. Welcome to the world of Bulk. You really dont need to pasteurize coir/verm. they are verrrry resistant to contams. If you chose to sterilize them however the coir will be colonized and consumed faster. However I wouldn't recommend this unless you have your sterile technique down because it can increase the possibility of contamination (the little beasties like sterile coir too). Otherwise just follow the Teks and your'e golden.

Eyes are fooling you my camera is pretty shitty lol. The sub is glistening in person, so no stress. If it does get a little dry how should I proceed?
However inuocle I will let it sit, I've never read you give bad advice so I'll trust ya on this!

How did you make your spawn? Out of curiosity.

Due to my experience I didn't wanna run the risk of fucking up grains so my next run I'm gonna use them, but this time round I ucrumbled down 5 quarts of BRF to penny sized chunks

Holy fuck. What is that? 20 halfpints? Nice man, hope it works out for ya! I'll be following this one. I'm assuming MS as well. While youre waiting for this tub, you should get supplys together to start working with agar. I'm sure youll find a nice mushie to clone by then

read up on pasty plates. It doesnt get any easier and you will never go back to MS. If you can get a Pressure Cooker you will love bulk grows. Its easier than PF.
On a side note as good as Dead and friends are I miss Jerry!!! Nothin left to do but slide slide slide...
