Hello,
Since yesterday I think I fell in love with psychedelics. I have used magic mushrooms before, a low dose of san pedro and other natural entheogens (kanna, opium and kratom combined is pretty nice). I made an ayahuasca analoge, and drank it together with a good friend. We used about 3,5 grams of mimosa rootbark per person, and 2,5 grams of rue per person. But, instead of cooking, I decided to do a cold extraction tek. I just let the rootbark sit in water for 3 days. I made a tea of the rue and concentrated it. After drinking it, we stayed at my room for a while. But we were getting really hungry, so we decided to eat a bit. I was a bit scared to eat, because I thought that ayahuasca always made you feel ill. But, it didn't. We did feel a bit uncomfortable at the beginning (a bit dizzy and nauseaus) but we didn't puke or fell ill. I think that it might be because of the cold water extract. It is really hard to describe everything, but most of the time we were just laying, sometimes I was laying on the carpet and my friend on the couch and then we switched to look from the other perspective. We saw all kinds of colours, and everything was symmetrical. I saw mandalas with eyes in them, and everything became really colourfull. We had some really deep thoughts, and I tried to explain them, but all the time I couldn't. There was so much to see, so much to think about that I couldn't finish the sentence. And listening to music was so good. Both of us felt like we transported to the place where the music was made when you closed your eyes, Bolivia, India etc. After it al was beginning to end, we decided to cycle trough the woods. The visuals were gone, but I still noticed that I was still thinking a lot more different than usual. We both said that it felt like we went on a vacation for a week and then came back home. During the whole experience I thought about a big step that I will make in a few months. I will travel to the other side of the globe (from Europe to Belize) and stay there for a while. It really felt like the right decision, and I'm looking forward to it a lot more now. I wil study tropical forestry and agriculture after the travel, and during the experience I got the idea of beginning an ethnobotanical farm intergrated with a regular agroforestry farm. I will work on an agroforestry farm in Belize, so I will probably learn alot about farming. I've always thought about migrating, and this honestly feels like a pretty good idea, so I'll start researching it. I also have several questions. I had the idea to take san pedro together with the rue seeds. After 2 hours take the mimosa and rue. In this way, the peak of both would happen at the same time. Would this be adviseable? And if I take rue seeds with the san pedro, would I still need as much rue for the mimosa?
I also have a question about the rue dose, does a higher dose only lengthen the experience or does it also intensify? If so, what are the differences between a higher rue dose with moderate mimosa or a higher mimosa dose with a higher rue dose?
I still find it very strange that we barely had nausea, I definately think that the cold water extract was a good method. Maybe the tannins that are harsh on the stomach are not released as much because it is not boiled? It also amazes me that just 3,5 grams could bring such a strong experience, as most people say that you should use more bark.
Well, this is my first trip report, so its probably a bit shitty as I find it hard to write down what happened, and since English is not my native language I probably made a lot of mistakes, but I hope that you guys liked it. Thanks for reading.
Greetings
