It is not a good idea. The reasoning is not worth re-hashing here, as it's been written about extensively elsewhere. After a quick Google search, here are a few sites that should sufficiently explain the basic reasons to avoid doing what you are suggesting

That is not to say you should not use Tor. Tor enhances privacy and anonymity when it is used following best practices. A non-Windows, live operating system environment, such as Tails OS or Whonix are both excellent choices. Though, using one of the OS's listed is not infallible, there are extra steps that must be taken.
