My Astrophytums get loads of Mediterranean sun and are loving it. I do have to be careful about introducing new arrivals to the sun, especially in summer. But if they do get a bit much sun they tend to turn purple - but soon recover.
I would ask questions like - is it firm? any sign of insect pests? including in the roots? But if it is not actually yours.... If it was I would keep it well away from my other plants.

I have only seen Astrophytum turning red/purple because of the sun as you mention but never yellow and never the entire plant.
The man owning this cactus told me that it is firm and he hasn't seen any pest but he's afraid to check the roots.

I had one pelecyphora strobilliformis turn yellow like that. It was dead from the inside. Not rotted and squishy but dying yellow. I dont know if that made much sense but to, and thats just to me, it looks dead. Ive also had aztekium valdezii turn that volor and were also dead.

I strongly doubt those are both the same plant. Unless it has shed some flecking on the turning-yellow process, that is.
I don't understand exactly what is the question here or the reason behind it: you found a puzzling question on the internet and turned to us for help? Or am I missing something?

My question is "why is that happening". People here know things, I want the knowledge.

I found a post on a page I use on the internet where someone posted this Astrophytum. It's curious, never seen anything alike again, how a plant can turn like this and why also since the guy said is the same plant why am I supposed to doubt him?

Looking carefully - that would now appear to be exactly the case - the pots are different colours and types, only one has top dressing - well spotted, zed. So what are we being asked and why? I have no more answers to give on this one.

Look at the pictures. One plant has flecking all the way down to the soil and is surrounded by plastic pots, the other only has flecks in the upper part and is surrounded by clay pots - plus the outer pot, the top dressing, etc. Not the same plant, IMHO. I could generally say that plants may react like that when shocked by too much light, too much heat, not enough water or a combination of those (and the subject of not enough water alone would warrant a lot of explanation), but that's a bit beside the point.
Let's suppose it's the same plant and put it in another way: if the guy changed the pot, the surroundings, the dressing, etc., what does he mean with "suddenly turned yellow"? I mean, it's not "suddenly", he changed a lot of its cultural parameters, right? It's only natural there's some reaction from the plant.

They put those rocks on and placed the original pot into another. It might be the same plant but I doubt its alive.

This is all I asked for. Thank you.
