GoPro First Person View setup

I have a GoPro hero 4 silver
Looking to use the heads trap and make some 1st person view tutorials about carpentry
It looks great so far except my audio is garbage
Looking to use an external mic setup with the use of the heads trap as well
Anyone have any ideas?
The waterproof case won't let you attach a mic so I need to use the casing the exposes the camera but still allows it to attach to other attachments if you know what I mean :p

Just record video and then add the audio in your editing so you come through perfectly clear.
-------------------- How to get started in bulk: Presto 23-Quart Pressure Cooker BOD's Simple as FUCK Still Air Box PastyWhyte's Easy Agar Tek Munchauzen's Cultivation Video Series How EvilMushroom666 Prepares His Grains (I use jars with Synthetic Filter Discs) What is G2G? (Grain-to-Grain) Damion5050's Coir Tek (I use 5.5 - 6 quarts of water instead of 4. Also ignore step 13 and ignore the monotub completely. The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary) Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful) Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

True. It's easier to talk about what I'm doing as I'm doing it though.
Then it seems fabricated and I won't have my thoughts in order.
I have seen these boom Mics or shotgun Mics that work great
My only problem is being able to have it attached to something so it's not flopping around

Like for example the Moto-vlogs with guys on motorcycles have crisp audio while having te camera attached to their helmet.
That's exactly what I'm looking for without wearing a bike helmet haha.
Just trying to make some tutorial videos

Is there a chance you could talk about it as you do it and hear it enough to record your voice over it with the same words in the editing?
Also, I'm sure there are plenty of mics that clip onto the collar of you shirt.
As far as not having to wear a helmet, I'd just look at what GoPro has to offer for accessories. You may be limited to a helmet to get the view you're wanting.

I want everything in realtime so the only editing is strictly video. Not really a fan of adding audio back in. Especially when it comes to certain aspects of the video I won't be able to make on the spot
I like the idea of a short clip or something.
I will keep looking. Just hoping someone has a nice setup posted online somewhere. Would love to get a nice high quality mic
