Is a mushroom without a cap normal?
    #23481053 - 07/27/16 02:03 AM (7 years, 6 months ago)

On my cake only 2 mushrooms grew :frown:, but I had to harvest them because the cap of one already opened.
However the other mushroom does not have a cap at all, is that normal??

I had a few of these pop up in my grow. None of them were very large, though; I assumed they were just muties.

Yeah, it happens from time to time.  The good news is that you don't have to worry about spores dropping on your cake.

Ok, good to know. It looked really weird to me and the fact that my flush is that unsuccessful made me worry. Thanks
