Yeah but we are all going to die together at once in mass extinction.
Man they are talking about the world wide average global temperature being 176 degrees and the only places on the planet that will be habitable are the poles and even there the few lucky rich and elite will have to use nuclear powered climate controlled greenhouses to grow food. But even then they will only survive for one generation.
I have been saying it since the zombie show craze started that they are showing us what about to happen. Disease causing bacteria, virus, and fungus being released from the permafrost and the pasteurization of the entire planet.
Shits going to be crazy man I cook my jerky at less than 176 degrees.

I think this is why all this wall building talk is happening, they are going to try and roadblock the 8 billion people strong mass migration to the poles. When we start that disease and famine will be everywhere.
Sure the planet changes and this might be normal but that doesnt mean we shouldnt talk about well over 7 billion people perishing within a thirty year time frame and other species of plant and animal reduced to 3% their original population.

Wait, so how will everyone get to the poles if the earth is flat?

But seriously, we better be glad we're in a global warming and not a global cooling.

The reason this is happening is the earth's orbit has become elliptical. It is quite noticeable when you look at the position of the sun, planets, and constellations and notice the seasons are out of phase. The worst will be 2017, during the spring/summer of that year the Earth will almost cross the orbit of Venus, and fall winter of that year the earth will be about half way to the orbit of mars. A new normal will occur 6 years later in 2023.
The cause of it is an old stellar core that orbits the sun roughly every 12,000 years. The Hindus call this object Ketu. You can see it during sunset very briefly after the sun sets as pinkish star that is roughly as bright as Venus. You folks down under in Australia will notice it a lot easier than us up here will. Hopefully it won't be close enough to make our Earth orbit go way out past the orbit of mars like it did the last time. Quick frozen mammoths anyone?

Regardless of the Master, the message is the same- Choose love and you shall live, Choose Fear and you shall die. Help bring peace to this Earth: Love one another, and serve others before yourself.

I could be wrong but I'm going to go out on a limb and say none of that is true, besides the part about earth's orbit being elliptical because that's well known. AFAIK the only planets whose orbits cross is neptune and pluto's (yeah I know it's not a planet anymore) but they don't even come close to each other. If you can provide legitimate sources for the other stuff I'd be more then happy to change my mind though, just never heard of any of that personally and I usually try to follow most things space related when I can.
But I'm 99.99% sure mars orbit and Earth's have never even come close to each other based on everything we know, let alone a planetary body of some kind that's visible to the naked eye that comes near us not being big news, especially when there's people who are obsessed with planet X or nibiru or any of that because they'd be jumping all over it if it was confirmed and it would make headlines.

That article is clickbait. The headline to the substance is directed at people like you who get all worked up about this. "Nothing new, someone was surprised." Kind of a pointless read as well as a waste of bandwidth. I find it truly amazing that people can have this "presence of mind" to "recognize" how horrible mainstream television is, yet how easy it is for those same people to not have any impartiality or observative skills to realize that written articles can have just as much manipulation and political affiliation.

Well here come the "head up their ass" pseudo-scientists to disprove mankind enhanced global warming... overruling what 99.9% of accredited climate scientists have been trumpeting for years.
Lol...It's just a normal process. Fact is...our children and our childrens children are going to have to deal with the consequences of our generations cavalier inactions on a global scale. This is not chicken little shit...this is the real deal peeps. Some of you young'ns are gonna have to deal with a lot more than me. I've already witnessed what several days of above 100 degree temps can do to the grasses in the shallow waters of the Chesapeake bay and the direct effect that has on the species living there in 2012. This is nothing compared to what is in store for this planet.
OK...now come all the naysayers.

I think it's ridiculous to think that our generation single handedly caused global warming. You should look into how much the ozone layer was destroyed in the 1800s due to steam powered vehicles.

it actually is a normal process. in our current time, we are entering into the next ice-age. all ice-ages are preceded by a rise in overall temperature, some dramatically quick, others over a longer period of time. this is basic geological anthropology.
NOW, here's the thing. human activity has significantly affected the rate at which atmospheric elemental composition is changing, fueling rapid changes of an already, entirely natural process. to deny global warming/cooling trends is akin to denying evolution of species or matters such as carrying capacity. the only thing remotely debatable is to what degree human activities are affecting the current wave.

You kids saying global warming isnt real have not been alive long enough to see for yourself that it is real. Here in illinois when I was a kid I lived in the trailer court and we would get blizzards so huge snow drifts would be so high they collected halfway up the trailer tall. Me and my sister would dig forts inside of it and make slides and tunnels through the drifts. Our fort was so tall we could stand up in it, and it was tradition to make it every year. Now days we cant even get enough snow here to make a decent snowman. Its real kids and even if its natural it doesnt mean we are not all about to die in mass extinction.

There is also the probable geo engineering side of things. If they have the technology, why wouldn't they be using it? It's definately been a very wet year here in the uk so far. Unusual weather compared to what Iv'e taken notice of over the years/decades.
I think the ice age thing is a good probability as the polar ice caps are growing in size.

I'll just leave this here to cheer us up too, we just need to keep driving 20+ miles to catch Pokemon guys, or just drive even b/c we're bored. we can do this. Each gallon of gas you burn puts 20 pounds of CO2 out
That CO2 helps free up that beautiful CH4, and mixes in our oceans to form Carbonic acid which acidifies the ocean, yaya and methane, its 20x more effective at heating up our planet than even CO2! WOOT WOOT!
But...Good job fellow humans, our landfills will eventually be reclaimed by erosion and tectonic activity and our petroleum based plastics will be mined out of the earth by whatever future intelligent life develops and discovers the ruins of humanity!
edit: also fun reads https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Doomsday_argument#Mathematics-free_explanation_by_analogy we're having so much trouble....and we've only just begun to learn..

I cant believe yall buy into this bs.
If the scientists dont get the numbers right it clearly proves the scientists have no idea what theyre talking about.
And if the scientists do get the numbers right it clearly proves theyre massaging the data to fit their models, meaning they have no idea what theyre talking about.
Ergo, climate change is a hoax.

If you were expecting an overnight solution, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed.

Regardless of which side of the arguement you sit on using ones personal experience of the weather is totally inadequate. A ridiculously small sample size.

Sensationalism. We'll all be fine 30 years from now, except it will be hotter.
You can panic if you'd like, over nothing, but I'll remain seated.

I'll no doubt be dead in 30 years, so enjoy the brave new world, kids.
