I pulled this from the GNC website... I was thinking about how

wouldnt that help them to grow faster, and possibly bigger?. Im going to do one jar with creatine and one the normal way, and use the normal one as a control. I do not have many jars, or the experience to do this myself so if anyone else wants to experiment with it, please do and let the board know how it goes!

well i dont know much about creatine and mushrooms, but to me it seems like it wouldn't be worth the money, nor time to try it. Mushrooms like poop, straw, and other things. You cna have to much nutirtion and that is bad. You will never know if you dont try it, and if you have the extra cash laying around, go for it. I know Cell-Tek creatine makes me grow big and strong!

heh... well I creatine by itself doesnt have any nutritional value whatsoever...
it just helps cells absorb water. If you have noticed, when your taking creatine you are VERY thirsty... and Im hoping that the shrooms will be too!

Hi-I'm no expert, but I don't think this would work.

I believe creatine will only work in animals. Creatine will help the availability of ATP in the muscles. Do mushrooms use ATP in their metabolic process? Beats me.

Basically I'm saying mushrooms and people get their energy through different pathways, so I wouldn't think dumping creatine on shrooms would make them grow any better- just like living in a humidity tent wouldn't make a human any taller.

i wouldn't suggest it because heres my example. if you use creatine personally and work out for a while your going to gain a lot of mass, but the second you quit, you'll lose most of it, it mainly contains water, i aint a shroom expert, but wouldnt they hold too much water and lose more weight in the long run ??

i think it would just make the shrooms take more water from the cake or casing. maybe making it dehydrate faster. just a thought.

*Disclaimer*-Again like I said I'm not an expert

With that said, I think the water retention/cell hydration found in athletes supplementing with creatine is related to the fact their bodies are using creatine. So if you give shrooms creatine, I don't think they will retain extra water by simple virtue of the fact the creatine molecule was in contact with some part of the mushroom. The mushroom would have to actually uptake the creatine and use it metabolically, somehow.

i.e. You might give your cannabis plant some Miracle-Gro to get all big and strong, but if you tried it on a human all you get is green skin.
