First spawn bag growing not going so well

I've successfully grown in jars but just tried spawn bags for the first time.
It's been 24 days since injecting the bags and I'm seeing absolutely no growth. For the first 3 days I did have the temp too high 84. They've since been at 78 for the remaining time. The bags appear mushy and very humid inside. Looking for some help on saving this grow.
What did I do wrong? What can be fixed. Thinking it's been too warm in the box
Was the temperature to high? Growing guide said 77-81 degrees

There's no saving it if it's been 24 days since inoculation and no signs of growth. Normal room temp (Low to mid 70s is best), so if you are incubating spawn then that should definitely be avoided. Throw it in the garbage and go back to what you had success with.

If you want to use bags which are a great method you must first learn agar culturing work and then grain to grain transferring from a quart of fully colonized spawn is a common procedure. When you transfer a quart into a five quart bag it colonize in about a week to ten days. No where close to 21 days. Choose better methods
