    #23478977 - 07/26/16 02:32 PM (7 years, 6 months ago)

I have brf/manure/verm cakes (pan cyans)

I'm confused with choosing teks , which one is your choose and why.

Crumble fully colonized cakes to your bulk substrate. I use coir/verm.
Let it fully colonize for 7 days, then apply a light casing layer over the top. (spaghnum peat moss/verm) or just use "jiffy seed-starter mix". It's basically the same thing

Yeah you should use a manure based bulk sub instead of CVG for pans if you want the most bang for your buck.

Not saying it doesn't lol. But I've seen a few pan coir grows and the fruits always look like they're suffering. You don't have fruits yet, so you gotta wait and see :P.

is there any explanation of making manure based bulk sub ?
how thick case should be? and how many jars each case? I have 7 jars (1/2 pint)

Properly pasteurize it. Mix in your fully colonized cakes.
Use whatever ratio you see necessary, but I like to aim for ar least a 1:2

Casing should be a light sprinkling over the surface.
Somewhere around 1/4" is ideal, but you'll have to eyeball it anyway, so use your best judgement.
