I have brf/manure/verm cakes (pan cyans)
I'm confused with choosing teks , which one is your choose and why.
Bulk substrates or casing?

Crumble fully colonized cakes to your bulk substrate. I use coir/verm. Let it fully colonize for 7 days, then apply a light casing layer over the top. (spaghnum peat moss/verm) or just use "jiffy seed-starter mix". It's basically the same thing

Yeah you should use a manure based bulk sub instead of CVG for pans if you want the most bang for your buck.

Not saying it doesn't lol. But I've seen a few pan coir grows and the fruits always look like they're suffering. You don't have fruits yet, so you gotta wait and see :P.

Yeah true, I guess I'll have to wait. I'll be happy with anything at this point, I just want to try some pans already!

Properly pasteurize it. Mix in your fully colonized cakes. Use whatever ratio you see necessary, but I like to aim for ar least a 1:2
Casing should be a light sprinkling over the surface. Somewhere around 1/4" is ideal, but you'll have to eyeball it anyway, so use your best judgement.
