SWIM needs help positively identifying mushrooms
    #23478914 - 07/26/16 02:14 PM (7 years, 6 months ago)

Habitat:
Grew near horse manure in a very humid and hot environment.

Gills:
Brownish yellow on the larger mushroom. Not attached to the stem. On the smaller ones they are more of a white color and not still not attached to stems.

Stem:
2 inches long on the larger. Around one inch on the shorter. All stems are a pale whitish color. Very thin. Larger mushroom has what seems to be a hollow stem. All other stems are solid. Smooth texture to all stems.

Cap:
Around one inch diameter on the larger, half an inch on the smaller ones. Pale yellow color on larger, pale white with a hint of brown on smaller ones. Smooth texture, seem to be protruding like a nipple.

Bruising:
Very few bruises, brownish in color.

Other information:
Very strong and lively smell. Sort of smells like a pasture with many animals.

Thanks for the reply. Will try a different camera next time. Hopefully next hunt will be more fortunate.

Is that 2-ply toilet paper?
