:frown: I'm sorry to hear that... My kitty died in December. I really miss her cute little chirrups and her fuzzy warm purring companionship... She was a total cuddle bug, always sleeping on me or on my pillow beside me.

My ex gave me a little Japanese plushie cat that has her same general color and similar pattern of fur on her face, it's really cute. It doesn't look realistic when you look right at it, but if it's placed someplace she used to curl up like on the back of the couch, I always think it's her when I see it out of the corner of my eye. I don't know if that sounds weird, but it helps somehow for me.

How to get started in bulk:
Presto 23-Quart Pressure Cooker
BOD's Simple as FUCK Still Air Box
PastyWhyte's Easy Agar Tek
Munchauzen's Cultivation Video Series
How EvilMushroom666 Prepares His Grains (I use jars with Synthetic Filter Discs)
What is G2G? (Grain-to-Grain)
Damion5050's Coir Tek (I use 5.5 - 6 quarts of water instead of 4. Also ignore step 13 and ignore the monotub completely. The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary)
Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful)
Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

I went through something similiar recently with my childhood dog, she was at least 15+ years old and had a bad hip amongst other problems so I finally had to put her down. Hardest thing I have ever had to do  I know it was for the best though and as others have said all we can do is cherish all the good times and let them live on in our hearts

I also don't have any close friends so I never got the chance to talk to anyone about it, my dog was actually the closest friend/ family I have.

Sometimes its nice to work things out on your own though, I was glad to avoid tons of "I am so sorry" type sentiments however authentic or not.

Very sorry dude. Cats and dogs usually have shorter life spans than humans but the emotional attachment is still great.

You are a great person to put her well-being at the top of her priority list. I'm sorry you're losing a friend, but you're giving her the best she can get and that is Peace. Thank you for not making her suffer longer than she has to.

Had a nice old lady come over and do it. Got to lay with and hold my dog for awhile while she patiently waited before getting it done. My dog was nervous at first but as soon as she got the sedative she drifted off to sleep :yinyang:

very sorry to hear that, I have a 16 year old cat that is nearing that stage and the fact that it is gradual really doesn't make it any easier.

It made some parts easier for me but also made others much harder. I was very thankful to get the chance to take her on many wonderful "last walks" as well as spoil her with treats and attention but at a certain point I knew there was nothing I could do except ease her passing. The longger goodby the harder it is in the end it seems but the extra time to prepare is worth it IMO at least.

I am sorry about your cat man. Am a cat lover and know how much of a connection we have to our pets. Know that you have your feline a good life man, I'm sure it's grateful for everything you've done for it.

Sorry to hear that man. Happened to us in January. our kitty was 17 years old. started having seizures, eventually stopped eating, and passed away on her own a day after that.

She was still going outside and catching mice and birds up till about a month before she passed. had a good long life, but we miss her alot

Thank you so much to everyone for everything you have said. She was taken to the vet today and will be berried tonight. I loved her so much. I know she loved me. I just wish things went differently. She was seriously fine 5 days ago...

My other younger cat came in and immediately started looking for her after she was gone. He already knew. Seems like he doesn't give a shit. She was queen and he and the dog knew it. Now shes gone. She had a good life. 15+ years. Kittens 3 times. Hardcore survivor outside she didn't need our food. Its tuff to see someone so strong fall...
