Yeah, the ghost uses the cermaic coils and they taste burnt
All you have to do to keep a ti nail clean is just make sure you are heating the crap out of it with a torch at least every once in a while (enail or not)

They taste burnt when they are burnt... Not when theyre not! Lol (you have to replace them). The Ghost is a vape pen, im much more interested in real vaporizers. But it is probably the most low-key thing i have for events and on the go and stuff. If i really wanna use shatter through a vaporizer, id put it in my Crafty.
I def do burn the shit out of my nail! i think the reason it feels harsh is i use a small rig which doesnt have much space to buffer the heat in between the nail and my throat. Theres water but its just a small rig, its still pretty hot going in. I also have a domeless but i dont feel like torching my flower bong, even with a different stem. Guess ill look for some sort of cheapish glass bong with a male joint

If you get a chance, try out quartz coils. You may not think it has burnt taste, but once you compare you'll see what I'm talking about, even at ultra low temperatures.
Small rigs are definitely a bit harsher but you get much better flavor. Are you letting your nail cool down and use a carb cap to ensure no waste. The only harshness you should be getting from dabbing is just the irritation from the rapid lung expansion (dabs expand way more than smoke)

Isn't shit compared to that shatter above this post  but.....
Made this little pile of golden dry ice sift with about 4 ish grams of sugary trimings from my Lanky Queen and a ~100~ micron silk cloth (was about twice this size a couple hours ago  was about to pack the last bowl of it and i remembered this thread existed) just shook till the couple chunks of dry ice evaporated. got a small amount of plant matter, but not enough to damage taste too noticeably  but the trim hash never tastes quite as nice as hash from the nugs anyway, so not worried about it much, is being smoked in a pipe anyway lol
Dank as FUCK, am stupidly lit tonight  shoulda been in bed hours ago, is what i get for making some sativa dom hash lol

It's pretty cool, I'm letting the cut go though. I like the high and smell but it kinda sucks for bag appeal, and it isn't the strongest grower. It's the only plant that had a problem this round, little bit of botrytis on two of the tops.
Mold scares me. It's the only shit I've ever seen wipe out a whole room. I know spider mites can do it too but you kinda gotta be a dipshit to let them get that bad. PM is fucked when it gets out of hand

I'm testing some dual liquid solvent extractions using non-polar solvents.
This time I used petroleum ether (naptha, said to ignore most of the unwanted fats and sugars) to pull the oil and basified water to clean it up.
Last time I soaked the ground buds for a few hours only, this time I waited a few days and made three pulls.
The outcome was much bigger than before, allthough I washed it three times with differing basified solutions.
Unlike butane, where you have your oil ready within an hour, it seems that patience and time is needed here.
