Depends. My GF personally doesn't like vibrators that are too strong, which is basically most of them. She has/we have a few, and most of them just vibrate too hard. We have this one G-spot massager in particular that's made out of hard plastic. If you were to drop that one in a bowl of milk, it'd turn into butter in 2.5 seconds. Fuck, you can break out concrete walls and floors with that thing.
She's found the stuff by Smilemakers to be just right. Though fair warning: the reason she likes them, is the same reason other women don't. They're a little weaker than average.
So, pro's:
+They have a small (4), though very fun collection +It's kind of weak. They won't leave her vagina feeling numb afterwards, their vibration is quite a bit more subtle +The material feels soft and slick to touch and the design is really sleek. +Completely waterproof and very silent +Four speeds and a pulse-mode +The packaging doesn't feature any graphic imagery or shit like "CUNTBLASTER 9000: THE ULTIMATE BUTTFUCK MACHINE", but a fun little cartoon on a subtle, small white box. It's just a detail, but one that she really does appreciate. +On top of that, they are very affordable.
(Possible) con:
-It's kind of weak.
She especially likes the Fireman model:
-------------------- To do: sclerotia, DMT, mushrooms, LSA, mescaline.

Honestly don't go crazy. I've bought a range of things for a few partners and they don't stay interested. Buy something simple like a small glass dildo or a small latex one and see if she likes it. quality is key and glass is safe and nice, but dont break the bank. small is good.
as far at the hitachi wand I just got my lady one. I researched for a few hours and found the "right" one as far as I'm concerned if you want the link. It's fun to use on her and she's used it once or twice alone but it's big, kinda loud (or seems loud), you gotta set it up, and it's a bit intense. I got it because she thought it would be fun which it is.
Get something small and glass. I find women like non-vibrating more. also no batteries and no hassle cleaning. and it's not intimidating

It is very difficult to say one vibrator is the best. It truly comes down to personal preference. this site reviews many toys in a comic fashion. However, most of the things they review are a bit pricey. You could also show her a few options and ask what she likes, or show this comic: http://www.ohjoysextoy.com/category/comic/review-comic/
