Grain Jars

Wondering if these yellow spots look like bacteria or mycelium metabolites to you guys? Was planning on using the jar for a g2g transfer but obviously with a bacterial contam this would be a lost cause. Could I salvage the jar in the event that it is bacteria by opening it and transferring some of the mycelium to agar in order to transfer away from the bacteria? Or should I just start over and order another syringe? Thanks in advance for any input.

Isn't it okay to let colonized jars sit if you rehydrate them?

The only purpose of this tek is to show you how to make a simple substrate. I also add gypsum to it but not necessary) Spitball's Monotub Tek (A liner isn't necessary but is useful) Use 6500k lights throughout the whole process. When you wake up, turn the light on. When you go to sleep turn the light off. It's as simple as that.

They've been sitting for a month exactly. Obviously not ideal but I had my hands full with some tubs and couldn't handle more volume at once. It's definitely not wet mycelium. If I shouldn't use it for g2g would it be possible to remove some mycelium and transfer it to agar or should I toss the whole thing? Thanks for the help!

depends how you see it, they start consolidating and lose vigor as they sit but they'll still produce.
