sterilizing top soil/verm in microwave
    #2347211 - 02/17/04 08:42 PM (13 years, 8 days ago)

Hey guys i've just been wondering about how i would go about sterilizing some top soil and verm in my microwave but not for jar'd substrate. i want it for my casing. so can i just throw a bunch in a glass bowl with some water or would it not make a difference to add water. (i know micro's work by vibrating water) yea so what the deal with that ? thanks

well that cool for the oven and all(which i'll probably end up going with) but what about microwave?

alounacara what are you baking in the oven verm or top soil, cause i dont think verm will make a stinky but im worried about some dirt, some strait up dirt in the oven.
does it smell or does it not smell, that is the question on every little boys mind

I used to double end cakes with verm right outta the bag with never a problem.

Don't use it for my casings, but seems like it ought to be the same.
Might depend on the particular supplier, though.
