Gaatl in my native tongue. One of my favorite mushrooms to find and for the table.











Also a few mushrooms I haven't seen before on the fallen cottonwood I look for Gaatl on.





Any conjectures on what these could be?

Just a guess, how about Bondarzewia sp. for the polypore.

And does the other have serrate gills? Could it be Lentinellus vulpinus?

Thanks for the leads. Bondarzewia looks like a possibility for the first one. There's another one around here that's similar but with a gray "cap"
