Bill oreillys asshole is the best place on earth, if we want to get all technical.

Most beautiful place I've ever seen personally was the Yellowstone/Grand Tetons/Jackson Hole, Wyoming region.

It was pure epic-ness on a grand scale.

I prefer mixed-oak woodlands/meadow with a touch of old-growth Fir scattered about and lots of Madrone.  not flat, contiguous beach

 I grew up in Wyoming, so I share your sentiments about its fucking awe inspiring beauty. I was in southeast Wyoming but it's still fucking incredible down there.

I'd love to go back and take acid and go hiking somewhere in the snowy range or at Vedauwoo or something. I need to get the fuck back out west

Never got a chance to spend any real time in southeast WY, but I did drive through it. And yep, it was very scenic.

When I was up in WY on my work transfer, I was stationed in SW Wyoming. Which is pretty barren. The best way SW WY was described to me was that it was a "cold desert". Looked like the desert but it was cold. I remember mornings driving when it was 35 degrees below zero. Like legitimately 35 degrees below zero...not that windchill bullshit.

But yeah I think I made the 4-5 hour trek up north to get up the NW corner of the state probably like 5 or 6 times. I would go back every year if I could. It's hard to get out there now, though. At least from where I'm at anyway. A plane flight.car rental/accommodations would be pretty fucking steep. And it would take me 22 some hours to drive up there.

Jackson's the closest town to all of that.

And the problem with Jackson Hole is, it's incredibly expensive. You're talking Aspen level housing market prices. A lot of celebrities have places out there. Winter homes I'm guessing. Harrison Ford, Sandra Bullock, Tiger Woods, Dick Cheney to name a few. From what I gathered, it's pretty tough making out there on "normal" money if you know what I mean.

I'd move out there in a heartbeat if I could but I don't think I could realistically.

I went to Hawaii on vacation once for 2 weeks when I was a wee lad

Hands down most beautiful place I have ever been to in my life

I went to Oahu, the Big Island and then Maui, it was fucking paradise on Earth

I was at Waikiki Beach for the first few days, then on the Big Island we drove down the Road to Hana which is basically a long ass road through the jungle and around the coast, it was so beautiful it was surreal.. I also went to the Volcanos National Park and saw lava flowing in person, I remember it was pouring into the ocean and creating a fuckton of steam.. They told me that's how the entire archipelago was formed over millions of years

I want to go back sooooooo bad, and I swear to the Nine Divines I will again before I die

Volcanoes National Park

Waikiki Beach

Waterfall along the Road to Hana

Mauna Loa

Until 1975 u could go out there and live and work legally, then some douche in UK said Aussies can't come over and work without a visa so Aussies did the same and banned Brits coming over.

It's very hard to get a perm residence down there

I spent about a year backpacking and travelling and another year studying

Cruising in a car thro red dessert was quite the experience

Energies around Ayers Rock and Olgas are amazing

There's tons of crazy nomads to find roaming in AZ, it's the most bizzare and amazing state in America for me so far.

You can even ski / snowboard in AZ. It seems to have most types of environments from north to south.

The Sonoran desert in south AZ is also the greenest desert in the world or something.

Yeah Sedona is great. When I went out to the Grand Canyon last year, some random dude at the park told me that I gotta see Sedona before I leave. I had heard of Sedona but didn't know enough about it to make an out of the way stop at it -- not until I spoke to that guy anyway.

Glad I did, though.

We took a day trip over there and it was frigging great, man.

Yellowstone is my favorite place on earth too. True story...on that first pic of the falls....there is a trail there that goes all the way to the bottom of the canyon called 7 mile trail...I hiked to the bottom with my fly rod and was literally catching 15-18" cutthroat 2 at a time on a nymph pattern. was one of my most amazing and epic adventures that I have ever had.Walking out was a bitch though....almost all switchbacks .

Every bit of this is up in the northwest corner of Wyoming.

Yellowstone is my favorite place on earth too. True story...on that first pic of the falls....there is a trail there that goes all the way to the bottom of the canyon called 7 mile trail...I hiked to the bottom with my fly rod and was literally catching 15-18" cutthroat 2 at a time on a nymph pattern. was one of my most amazing and epic adventures that I have ever had.

Dude that is the fucking shit, bro. I bet that was incredible on an absolutely epic scale.

I need to do that if I ever get lucky enough to go again.

One thing I've always dreamed of doing up there (or in the Tetons) is back country hike & camp. I wanna go deep off into the park where the tourists aren't.

Them wolf packs and grizzlies would have me paranoid tho

Why live there?

was born there. Beauty is subjective

someof those places are pretty nice though. North America is pretty impoverished on the beauty front

What?

If you think that's true leave the rust belt

NA is an incredibly beautiful continent. Just not in the midwest/east shit over populated places.

Move to Oregon brah.

Haven't been too many places but there's lots of beauty in B.C. for sure, and parts of Crete were fucking stunning. Even Alberta has some nice stuff

I really wanna go to Yellowstone tho

Most beautiful place I've been to is colorado river state park in Texas. They have some seriously fucking amazing areas if you go hiking out enough, tons of waterfalls too. Wish I took pictures.

Tons of white bass too. I should go back there...

The most beautiful place in the world is the human mind.
