I have some wine that's ready to be bottled, there's no danger in having a glass or 3 right ?

If it has been through fermentation it is fine, other than the toxic alcohol in it, lol. I love me some fermented products. But in all seriousness it will be fine, flavor might not be as mellow as you like, but all good.

It's been racked every 2-3 weeks for 9 weeks so I think it's done I haven't seen gas exchange in a long time

Yeah, that should do it. Do you have a hydrometer? Those pre and post readings are gold. As far as things that will be "dangerous", you would know by the smell, a clean fermentation, or even one with a bit of Brett or lacto, will not smell like a bacteria will make you sick. If it smells like sewage, don't drink it, lol. You'd probably vomit before you could get it down. But back to the hydrometer, if you have a high enough presence of ABV, you really have nothing to worry about.

I have a hydrometer but I'm too lazy to get stuff to the right temp to get a good reading lol I remember predicting it would be 12% by the first reading
It's not bad it's blackberry and my first batch it's real dry and has a slight yeast taste but not bad tatseing and smells weak but like wine should smell

All good then, you can still do the hydrometer reading after fermentation, it'll just show how much residual sugar is left. Water is 1.000 so a fully attenuated wine will be less than 0.9999 or there abouts for a dry wine. The yeasty flavor is a good sign, that shit will really out compete anything given a good pitching rate. The yeast might give you a little gas, if you have a diet with a lot of fast food or what not. The major part of aging wine (or beer) is to allow the yeast to clear up byproducts of fermentation (off flavors) and as the yeast runs out of food and energy reserves it falls out of solution, leaving a tasty clean beverage.

Just a heads up: http://www.brewersfriend.com/hydrometer-temp/ That will help with temp readings for a hydrometer. We drink our stuff before aging all the time. It does get better with age, but sometimes you just need to sample, lol.

Thanks for the link I'll save it I had been using the test tube with an aquarium type tape thermometer on it and putting it in the fridge with a sealed top. Cutting all that out will make things more smooth

New wine that hasnt aged enough needs to be put in a decanter to oxidize the wine and mellow the flavor, otherwise its a little harsh tastwise

I think the temperature fluctuations make a significant difference. I tried some online hydrometer calculator where I typed in the temperature of the must and its SG, and once it was converted, it wasnt much different at all.
