White fuzz on wet mushrooms...mold?

So some healthy fruits were harvested but I was on vacation for about 3 days and wasn't able to dry or refrigerate them. They were placed in kleenex in a small sealed container. Upon return, they were still moist (but not slimy or anything) and had a thin layer of white fuzz growing on them.
They are drying in a dehydrator now. Are they still safe to eat? Or should they be tossed?

It was probably cube mycelium you saw trying to regrow.
If your going to store fresh shrooms you have to put them in the refrigerator.
Putting them in a sealed container is a bad idea when they're still wet.
I would've just layed them out on a block of wood or something before the vacation.

Is it safe if a little mycelium gets consumed?
Sorry, I'm a newb and this was first harvest. Had mold growing on the cake opposite the fruits and wanted to harvest them before the mold spread. Also I'm living somewhere where I have to be discreet so I couldn't just lay them out or put them in the fridge. I know, I know...no lectures please I have done much research but obviously I'm still ignorant about some things but I'm hoping to learn from mistakes and experiences as I go. Like many newbs I'm not very confident but I'm hoping to become more adept with time and lots of practice.
So for now I'm reaching out to the more experienced folks on here for advice and to learn more to clear up any ignorance I have.
Thanks for your help

I know, I was dumb but I felt it was my best option at the time... At least I've learned from this experience.
Anyways, after dehyd, you can't even tell there was anything growing on them...nothing visibly noticeable they actually look fine. They're dried and bruised blue and have that distinct mushy smell. They look like normal dried shrooms. If there was something wrong do you think it would be more evident? Or can it be affected internally/microscopically? (Sorry if those are stupid questions lol I guess I'm just overly worried since I'm such a newb but I'm stubborn and don't want to waste my first harvest if it's probably fine). Another dumb question, would it help to examine the tissue under a microscope and if so what should I look for?
What do you think? Would you say they're most likely okay? I think I'll keep them and find out...

You're probably fine and mycelium is definitely okay to consume
