Just a quickie! Note that salvinorin A is not well absorbed from the digestive track and sometimes problems are encountered even with the quid method (chewing leafs ,holding them in mouth for absorbtion via oral mucosa). So in short you cannot have an oral salvia shroom cocail (that is if you thought about having a super strong weird tea or something like that)
The neurochemistry behind it must be interesting. If i am correct psilocybin is a 5HT-2A antagonist and Salvinorin A is a Kappa opiod agonist. Can anyone elaborate on the neurochemistry.Could it be possible that both receptors are present at a given area of the brain together? I wonder if the effect of this combo is just parallel (affecting two different systems and not much of an interaction between them) synergistic or whatever else it could be!
