bad salvia trip

well i didn't want to smoke in my messy room so i went out into the nature area where i trip a lot. i learned however, with salvia you really need to secure your environment before hand more so than with other substances. as soon as i took the hit and began to enter the trip, a spider crawled into my sandal and bit me. this caused me to have a bad trip. dealing with the spider while the salvia hit me was very disturbing and terrifying for me and my trip became that horrible creepy crawly feeling you get when bugs crawl on you. I'm alright now, not the worst thing that can happen in a trip by far but i learned its very important to have no distractions when you do salvia.

That would be pretty lame to experience. Salvia is such a frightening drug in itself that i think any real distraction can cause a bed experience.. Especially a spider bite! Glad your'e not traumatized or something haha. I used to see spiders when I took sleeping pills. They would crawl on the floor and then when would swat at them they would disappear into a dust cloud or something haha. It was pretty freaky but when you know Its just part of a drug trip its alot easier to handle mentally.

A spider bit you on Salvia? That's awful man. Sounds like some dark magic to me. They say the Lady is easily angered...
What was your strength and dose?
I've found nature far to distracting on Salvia, even without spiders. Just the open air, the trees, and everything. Too much. I prefer a almost totally dark room inside a house I feel safe in.
I did once see an owl fly over me in between Salvia trips outside in nature. Made me feel all Twin Peaks. It was special, but I feel no need to repeat.
Love, H.

"Bad salvia trip" seems redundant to me, but hey I hear some of you crazy folk like that stuff so to each his own I guess.

I heard salvia trips can already be unpleasant on its own sometimes, but damn a spider biting you ON A SALVIA TRIP?! So it was real? Was it a huge spider?! FUCK! What are the chances, man?

You got a spider enhanced salvia trip! Once you get past the pain part, the idea of having an experience influenced by that particular spider is pretty cool. One in a billion.

it was a big brown spider and i watched in horror as it scurried away. the feeling was just devastating.
but i am having amazing experiences with salvia. i am finding it more transformative than any other substance right now. has anyone experienced this? its totally changing how i see reality, in a more permanent way than shrooms or lsd.

Are you confident the spider was real? Salvia is totally capable of conjuring up events like this. Not that it makes them any less real...
And yes, Salvia has done fundamental things for me. But I've always thought that I was so impressed simply because I had never started on dmt yet. I will this year. Can you compare the two in your experience?
Right now, I'm reasonably scared of Salvia, after what it's done to me the last couple of times. No overwhelming dysphoria for you then?
