Pasteurize manure for outdoor cube grow? Peziza cups keep popping up!

I've got some manure in a little bed in a good spot in the backyard. I've "spawned" some partly-spent BRF cakes on 6/18, and added some Golden Teacher butts from a monotub a week ago. (I say "spawn"; but it was really just crumble-and-bury the cakes, and "plant" the butts.) I've got the same strain ready on rye for "spawning" there, too.
But before I do...
I haven't seen any cubes yet; but these Pezizas keep popping up:

- Should I start a separate bed with the same unpasteurized manure? I've heard, "don't pasteurize straw or manure for outdoor"; but I wonder if this is an exception (i.e., when there seems to be a known competitor fungus present).
- Or should I pasteurize the manure to give the cube mycelium a head start - in case the Peziza and whomever else is in there are too primed?
I definitely want to figure this out before it's time to bury the whole mycelial mat from the monotub.
Thanks!

At best solar treat the manure by covering moist manure with a plastic tarp and letting it bake in the sun for a couple days to kill bug eggs. As far as real pasteurization you don't want to do that. It will end up being an epic fail with all sorts of weed fungi and molds growing in it.

Thanks, Eywa_devotee.
I've been sunning the manure; it's at least "field dry."
But I haven't cooked it moist under a tarp. Does that crank the temp under the plastic up enough to do something like slow-pasteurize?

Okay, I solar-"cooked" some manure, spawned to it a rye jar that had a little (removed) contamination in it, and covered with straw (and chicken wire to keep the squirrels out).
The first fruits appeareth:

A measure of success, still unfolding.

Okay, thanks. I don't think I mentioned: This is my first outdoor grow, so I can use the feedback. It's in this alley, which only gets direct sun for a few hours in the morning. I water or heavily mist it in the morning, except during these recent days when it's been raining.
I'll go hit it with some good mist...

Slugs eating my outdoor Golden Teacher patch [Re: Groovy Hobbit]

Yikes. I've got chicken wire to keep the squirrels from digging it out. You can see the diatomaceous earth I put around the perimeter. But something (other than me) is eating the shrooms, as you can see from the tunnel straight down (or up?) through the cap:

I found some help here (e.g., I'm putting out a dish of beer based on this suggestion). Although slugs are my first guess, I'm not 100% sure it's slug damage. What I see are millipedes. Same treatment?
Other recommendations?

I removed some millipedes and slugs, added a beer-dish trap, and harvested one shroom from the site last night.
The main flush is coming in:

Last night's alley harvest:

Slugs don't seem to be a problem. They were appeased with one and a half shrooms.
