Symptoms of diverticulitis at age 21? Home remedies? advice?

Since yesterday my sigmoid colon has been bloated and sore. I've looked up what it could possibly be and so far I have all of the symptoms of diverticulitis...but I've also read that it doesn't normally happen to people until they're in their 50s??
I'm skinny and tall, fairly toned, but I have a habit of overindulging in food and more specifically, sugar, for so many years.
This is probably more than people want to hear but this morning when I went to pass a bowel movement, I remember straining to force it out. I didn't think much of it, that's how I normally use the bathroom, but I learned that doing this over a period of years can contribute to diverticulitis as well.
I'm doing research on what I should be eating...some of the information is a bit conflicting so it's a little hard unfortunately. I'm not one for medications, I plan on solving this naturally and hopefully before it gets severe (if it isn't already). I heard moderate exercise, specifically jogging and running, is supposed to help as well so I've been taking the time to jog in place for about 10 minutes at a time.
Does anyone have any advice or tips aside from going to the doctor? I'm looking for home remedies (maybe apple cider vinegar? honey? lemon? all of the above?), diet tips for what kind of foods I should be eating throughout the day, and possibly maybe some yoga stretches or something that might help?

Or perhaps it's my descending colon that's bloated...

Thanks for the reply man.
Yesterday I steamed some spinach and other leafy greens in olive oil and drizzled apple cider vinegar on it, threw in a clove of minced garlic, some Himalayan sea salt, and a diced apple.
Then later on I made organic brown rice and some rosemary/garlic potatoes to eat. And to satisfy my sweet tooth I made a fruit smoothie.
I made sure not to eat 3 hours before I went to sleep and after I used the bathroom this morning it's felt way better. Less bloated and not as tender.
I think if I keep this up for a bit and quit indulging myself in so much wheat and sugar then I'll be fine.

It's a cumulative process ov recovery and descent into experiencing worsened symptoms with a diet high in insoluble fiber, which is the main progressive cause ov most all colorectal diseases. Heavy water consumption is also detrimental as it has very little relation to stool moisture and excessive urination leads to the depletion ov potassium and magnesium, which actually are essential in retention ov stool moisture.
You probably do'nt have a colorectal disease right now. But continue to follow the mass lie and scam that fiber is beneficial and you probably will eventually develop one.
