You can see the bruise on the smaller one, its that kind of dark spot on it. If you look where the stem is broken on the inside of the mushroom where the gills are, there is kind of a bluish tint, if that helps. I had trouble even bruising them because they kind of dried in my pockets. I was thinking they were psilocybe cubensis.
Habitat: I found these on cow poop in Grenada, MS.
Gills: has gills
Stem: hollow, white
Cap: spherical, golden
Spore print color: Not sure how to do a spore print, can someone tell me how ?
Bruising: They were not really bruising because they kind of dried in my pocket.
Other information: earthy smell

Psilocybin cubensis they look very magical! I'd eat them fresh with a little lemon! Those will be very fun. Make a bit of lemonade dice them in small chunks stir for five minutes let sit for another ten and down the whole concoction!

Psilocybe cubensis is a fairly easy fungus to identify because of the oxidation of psilocybin converting to psilocin which becomes apparent through bruising the mushroom. To my knowledge there are no poisonous look alike that grow directly from cow dung. These are without a doubt psilocybe cubensis. Chlorophyllum Molybdites can sometimes be found growing in fields near cow dung but not off of it directly and they cause general mushroom poisoning although they are not deadly. Hope that helps.
