Will Shaking my WBS jars be benifical?

So I have 5 WBS jars going right now. They all are at 6 days. 3 of the jars look like they are coming along nicely. The other 2 look like they are really slow or dead in the water.
So my question is, would shaking the jars at this stage help along my jars that are colonizing? And would it be beneficial to shake the jars that are slower also?
Sorry if this is a easy question, I'm just curious.

Normally grain jars are shaken at about 30% or so. leave them for a while longer I would say. For me so far I've been shaking about 2 weeks or so into colonization. That's about 30% for me. after that they recover and are done in a few more days.

30% after 2 weeks means there is something wrong.
For the OP, how did you inoculate them? Wedge, LC/LI, spores? Most likely if those 2 jars are not chugging along the same rate as the others they are most likely contaminated.

I'm giving an approximation, I don't account for every minute of colonization my friend.

It could just be those 2 jars got less cc's or something, but most likely contam, just shake them, you will know a few days after that. Any greasy looking grains sticking to the jar?

Not to the jar, but it looks like the grains them selves are kinda sticking together.

I take that back, all the jars seem to be pretty free flowing.

Yea probably, but Its still good to know that in a week or two shaking will help will colonization. Thanks for replying though!

yeah 2 weeks is way off the mark for 30%. my jars are 100% by two weeks, and if they aren't, shit has gone south.
OP post a picture already. 6 days in you should be close to ready for a shake.

Oh then perhaps I'm just waiting too long before I shake. Mine must have been much further along than that then. I guess I'm not good at recognizing how far along they are yet.
Edit-Come to think of it, and looking through some of my pics, yes I misspoke. Well beyond 30% before I shake jars, my bad OP. It's all good though.

You can totally get 100% MS jars in under 2 weeks, any longer than that I would start to worry about them.

Not straight from a syringe unless you use the whole thing in one jar or your syringe is straight purple I've seen em take up to two weeks just to show up and sometimes not at all

Shaking early will sometimes make the whole proccess go slower. I've never really had a jar that finished 3-4 days after the shake, like most folks say they do but I did notice that my jars tend to finish quicker if I don't jump the gun on the shake. Shaking early also tends to get you patches where there's no colonized grain which you will have to shake another time to speed it up. A second shake means a second recovery which takes more time than if you waited a few days more and shook it only once.

These are the 2 jars that are moving way slower then the other 3

These are the jars that seem to me moving along pretty well. My only concern is that bacteria might set in cause of how hot it has been here lately. do they look good to you folks?

and sincerely thank you everyone for trying to help me along! I truly appreciate it!

Why is the middle one look chunky?? I can't really tell from the pic but that middle one does look funny maybe get a close up of them ... And as far as it being too hot you can't run your AC? The temp of the outside of the jar shouldn't pass 80℉ at most preferably 73-77 if you can find somewhere it can stay cooler I bought a thermometer to sit where I grow so I know exactly what the temps are ....
