Humidity problem when fruiting

Hi guys and gals
I can't seem to raise my humidity higher then 70% and it only does that when I've just sprayed the chamber. Then down to 50-60% on average. I can't get it up any higher. Plus my temps are between 23-37 degrees cos were having a heatwave or summat. Lowest it's been is as the picture shows
Any help would be appreciated
Here's my set up

Good. That's what it should be. 90-99% a centimeter from the surface as water evaporates off the cakes creating a microclimate.

I was trying to up humidity by taping holes up. The probe is only like 5 cms from the top of perlite
It's my first time and I just really want it to work so can take them to music festival which is in a month
So you think humidity will be ok then and what should I get instead of that hygrometer
Thanks Bud

btw, taping holes lowers humidity, as has been said many times in other threads.

Ohhh. I read in a thread to tape em up to stop moisture escaping. So much contradicting info on these forums it's hard to judge a reliable source
Why would it lower it ?

You need air flowing through the perlite and out the holes above the perlite to create humidity in the chamber. 50-80% fluctuation is good

If only there were Trusted Cultivators, or a search engine that lets you limit results by date... with a trusted cultivator box to check if you so wished. What a system that'd be.
I'm curious what thread you read that in though, usually if someone suggests something like that we rip off their head and shit down their neck.

Not at all. They're great. You just don't use them to grow mushrooms.

There is no device to gauge humidity in a sgfc but u can almost trust one built to specs with nice hydrated perilite will be 80 85 range no probs. Check to see that your perilite isnt dry and that its not by open window breeze or maybe you got a serious draft coming out of that window thought i see apartment blinds in window. there known for shitty construction and old drafty windows. If it is id move not so next to one.
