Life changing, in 3 months i "lived more" than the past 4 years
    #23458843 - 07/20/16 08:38 AM (7 years, 6 months ago)

Hey guys,
the last 3 months have been wonderful ever since i discovered shrooms.
I tripped couple of times and recently started microdosing. One Heroic dose blew me away.
Recently i feel like i have "lived more" in the 3 months than have in the past 4 years.

The microdose is quite effective in keeping my mind focused. I want to take them to create new habits.  I know that my mind in normally quite busy and gets distracted from the right path without shrooms.

My question is can a microdose alter your mind, so that in future you could take less and less and still have a wonderful life. Or is Psilocybin always temporary. I mean that you always revert back to your old self when stop taking them.

You will revert back to the same state of consciousness after they wear off, as in you will no longer be high. But depending on what the fruit of the gods have taught you, you may have a new outlook on life. People who experience traumatic things often are effected by it for years to come after the event, the same can be said about a positive experience.

What, out of curiosity were you doing in the paat four years?
And yeah bakerb is exactly right, a positive psychedelic experience can help you change yourself for the better, but that awareness is not easily maintained.

I woulden't say you revert back to your old self, you can integrate lessons learned within these trips into your every day life and actually change yourself.

i wasted these four years being really depressed. The reason is still a mystery to me. I was not doing much just stayed at home and didn't feel like to meet my friends. Just went to college and procrastinated really really hard because i was afraid of failure. Was a slow transitition and just recently became fully aware of.

Maybe on low dose you get these "micro lessons".
I can say the big doses give me real hard lessons. But on microdoses I cant really tell.
Trying to climb out my darkness. Just taking baby steps:grin:

Epic. It's nice to read this kinda stuff from a newbie.

The shrooms are so accessible, use them right and they reward you. Clearly you have and are reaping the benefits.

Hope you enjoy your future experiences!

I'm sick of all you hypocrites
Holding me at bay
And I don't need your sympathy
To get me through the day
Seasons change and so can I
Hold on boy, no time to cry
Untie these strings, I'm climbing down
I won't let them push me away

This is great to hear.

Going to post a separate piece, but would appreciate guidance from those who have altered their personal state for the better longer term.

what i am afraid of is that i might get addicted to shrooms. I know they don't cause serious addictions. But you know, when you do them daily.... That might become a habit too.
So how to find the sweet spot where i can benefit from it but not become dependent?

Dunno about microdosing doing that, but yes with mushrooms you can alter your mind and change permanently.  Neurogenesis, neuroplasticity, same way that meditation works - look it up.

nah, u won't become addicted, especially not micro dosing, micro dose all you want, when you stop there will likely be little to no negative health effects

Hoffman micro dosed LSD all the time and lived to be over 100, not that that means anything
