Compassion requires far more strength than aggression.
-------------------- Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not. --Jac O'keeffe

I have compassion for those who use aggression to make change.
--------------------
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Psalm 12:6 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. Revelation 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

My most cognizant realization was that we're self important and our lives and desires amount to nothing more then static against the backdrop of the infinite universe. The complete and total apathy of existence is the only rational reaction to your inevitable annihilation. In effect, that means your free to do whatever the fuck you please. Just be aware of the repercussions.

Taking care of people. Taking care of our communities. Taking care of your children. And mostly, taking care of yourself.
All of these are far more important than slaving your entire life away to a corporation who ultimately doesn't give a flying fuck about you.

Pfft, kind of fuck boy shit is this. "Taking care of your communities". This place, by design, is irreprehensibly violent. The very fabric of existence calls for the most vile of evils to be exacted for progress. Nothing gives a fuck about you. Death will take you and crush everything you love to dust, so its forgotten and never remembered. Life, by all accounts, is just a momentary lull in nothingness.

Whilst I agree that humans, en masse, are inherently violent, I think you disregard the value of community to us. Strong communities promote cooperation and good mental health IMO, and it is truly noble cause to dedicate oneself to to keeping them strong.
However, communities (tribes?) seem to be inherently warlike towards one another.

My realization growing up is that there are so many people that got dealt shitty hands that I have no reason to be unhappy given all the lotteries I have won at birth...
All I have to do is look at all my neighbors to the left and all my neighbors to the right and see it all plainly that I am lucky as fuck. Even with my coworkers.
- I could have had bad parents, but I didn't - I could have been born in the 95% part of the world considered to be shitty. I wasn't - I could have been raised in poverty. I wasn't - I could have been a moron with no common sense or judgement. I'm not - I could be drawn to crime and high risk activities. I'm not. - I could be uneducated. I am not - I could have bad health. I don't.
The only curse that comes with all this is that I bitch about everything because I live with people who didn't get everything I got... Stupid right?
